Mentioned it at the start before servers went live. Noone listened then. Maybe now it’s different.
Add Dynamic spawn rates correctly to herbs in world Blizzard. Thanks.

Better to go farm gold and buy your herbs.
Farming herbs is a waste of time.
That depends. I herb on my rogue when hunter got worldbuffs. I always end up with 8-10 mongooses an hour. Which is easy 80-100g on my server.
Yeah… no. If the timer was let’s say 5 minutes in Vanilla it should be the same in classic.
Resources spawn time in Vanilla was balanced around having 2k pop cap in realms, not 30k though.
That would be true if we also had the same server caps. Right now the prices are insane cause there are too many players needing herbs and there are only so many the world generates…
There is still option to transfer to any lower pop server. If you choose playing on high pop server, you have accepted + ( pluses / pros ) of high pop server, now you have to embrace the cons as well.
You may not have the choice to transfer. In my case, 1/Faction imbalance on pvp servers 2/ only one pve server.
Flawless logic there eh…
Should I also transfer weekly to offset the population changes?
Like every EU English server has more players than any server back then.
Even on non full servers, there’s people farming herbs 24/7 (not counting bots)
No they are not. Just this worlf isnt designed for 10k players ln single realm. Dynamic respawns would only make people camp the same spot over and over.
1/ Transfer has a CD longer than a week, no logic there …
2/ Yeah, no doubt there, people also know what to pick up, where to farm and what to do.
3/ Bots are obviously paying customers too.
So, whats your advice / solution ? Simply add dynamic respawn ? So 2-3 bots can juggle farm x spawnpoints ?
Checked Eastern Plaguelands on Horde. 20 players. Made an Alliance character to check the same zone. 50 players. No wonder there are no herbs.
You can buy gold from boosters. “Legal” companies advertised by mmo websites.
They did, by not implementing dynamic spawn rates to herbs. Adding a few band aid changes to the game won’t fix the underlaying issue, which is too many players per server. Dynamic spawn rates could potentially promote unwanted player/bot behaviour.
False. Pservers have proved multiple times over that dynamic respawn and increased nodes work perfectly to solve this issue. Try again.
I did consider that. There are more people gathering as well however. And more gold to go around as well. The inflation is based on many thing. Things like YouTube guides on how to solo farm 100g/h with a mage for example. These things where know back in the day but not by everyone. So no the spawn timer change is not going to fix that. In fact it can even backfire.
Yeah… no. If the timer was let’s say 5 minutes in Vanilla it should be the same in classic.
Yeah… no.
The population is 1-10x greater than it was in vanilla, so the spawntimer should be 1-10x.
The community can kind of deal with it by transfering to dead servers, stealing/buying all of their herbs and transferring them back to high pop servers, but it’s a hellish joke of a solution, unbecoming of a small indie company like Activision Blizzard.
Ye but they alredy changed spawns for stuff like Devilsaur , I farmed them on like 11-16 min respawns and they were down to like 5min respawn once , wasnt case in vanilla too.
Same should go for herbs or not at all including the devilsaur , why do they cherry pick what is and what is not incrased?
Decent thing to do is add lotuses to high end herbs and not have separate spawns.
No please, I bought a few stacks of Plaguebloom and Silversage, I have 2 Flasks, I don’t want my hard-earned bit of wealth to become nothing.
