Here is the best experience I had back in 2005

I am a Retail player nowadays, but it’s true that the experiences I had back then in vanilla wow will never be replicated.
I was ganking a player in Arathi Highlands, near Refuge pointe.
I killed him, then killed him again, then he calls for help. Two come. They kill me, I call for help in general. Then they called for more help, then we called for more help.
Before you know it we were two raids of 20-30 people each, fighting outside Refuge Pointe for 2 hours.
This is something I will never forget and it will never happen again in Retail.
Trully the best time i ever had. Unforgettable

Snap, had similar experiences at Southshore and STV killing Hordie gankers. They dont like it when it happens to them see. Turned into full scale war which crashed the server at one point. Ahhh they were good times.

And that’s why playing classic is basically tripping on nostalgia. You’re playing, having a great time when after a few hours you all of a sudden reminisce all the friends you played with at that time, all that moments that felt so fresh now feel like a distant memory and questioning what the hell you’re doing there since those moments will never come back even if the playground is the same.
Don’t get me wrong I love playing classic. But I play it very casually because if played for too long at once I always end up sad for some reason.
