Blizzard should have posted a HOW TO help article on this but okay.
Recently some kids got ownership of WORLD channel and banned a bunch of ppl.
Here’s how to get your toon unbanned:
- Type /chatlist “number” where “number” is the number your world channel has got assigned in your toon’s chat interface.
e.g. “/chatlist 4” where “4” is the number world has in my interface.
You should get a list of names in grey. That’s all the ppl who are currently listening on this channel. Scroll up to the top and look for the very first name in the list of the grey names that has an ASTERISK * next to it.
That is the channel’s current owner, which is randomly assigned.
- Whisper that person, be polite, and tell them to type the following command:
/unban world “name of your toon”
e.g.
/unban world patreus
