Heroic Leap - Warrior jump doesn’t work well? It is enough to have a small unevenness of the terrain, or a hill, and the war does not want to jump anywhere.
When this happens in BG, sometimes you don’t understand why your warrior doesn’t jump and you click on the ground like a fool, and nothing happens.
In the Lowlands on the way to the Sawmill, I can’t jump up - on the road where the enemy is standing. And forced to wait for KD - Charge.
If your opponent climbs to the minimum rise - a hump, you will no longer jump to him.
Although it all depends on the texture of the ground. Sometimes the jump works and other times you can’t.
If you also have similar situations, write back or refute.

Working as intended, it was exactly the same in original cata too, why it was commonly called ‘heroic path not found’

I play cata since 2011 and I know this should work differently. I like the addition of not being able to go out of range in to red, but still even it glows green, it doesnt jump. It’s really bad for all PVP warriors so please fix it i support that

Doesnt work at all like it should

I played on a private server in 2016. There, the jump worked without problems. You could jump anywhere, within reason.
At Cataclysm in 2011, I played a druid, so I could not evaluate the warrior.
But. Obviously, there is a problem, because it takes precious seconds in PVP and leads to an undesirable result. It shouldn’t be like that.

It’s especially funny when there are several steps in front of you and you can’t jump over them.

Private servers make meny spell works better then they originaly where,
Fore short Period of time Heroic Leap was kinda Op cos it let you jump almost everwhere, but then was real fast hotfixed in to sory state it is today.
So yea HL not working “path not found”, is originall 95% of time Cata expirience
THis whole expansion is literal joke and mess in warrior class, cruel joke.
-
First of all they nerfed fury warriors so much and so ridiciously that now Arms warrior made to be main PVE spec is dominating PVP, fury is literall F tier spec to go in both PVE and PVP aspects of the game.
-
Heroic leap is not made properly so it’s basically uselles.
-
Prot warrior is literally F tier in his domain too. Basically in both PVP/ PVE too.
So well done, good job blizzard. Ruin a class make it’s one spec only go option that have not working ability properly.

It was awful in the original Cata because they didn’t know how to program it without having you also be able to exploit out of bounds, and actually Heroic Leap was originally a WOTLK ability that got cut at the last moment before release for this same reason. It took Blizzard until Legion before Heroic Leap worked fully as it does in retail today.
Cata was obviously developed by a very small team with a very low effort compared to previous Classic releases, so they obviously weren’t going to go in and put in fixes that could have a large impact on the game and might need further fixing later, they just did a copy-paste on patch 4.3. Legion leap allows you to jump up platforms and climb mountains, that wasn’t a thing in Cataclysm, it was just a gap closer.
Well your memory is bad because I have always mained a Warrior, for nearly 20 years, I was in the original Cataclysm alpha/beta too, and it never worked like it does in retail, it was terrible in Cata, it was terrible in MOP, it was better in WOD and it was fully working in Legion.
It was just as bad as it is now in Cata, and it was just as bad as this in MOP too.
Well, Arms is compared to Fury, significantly easier and therefore less enjoyable for me. Enjoy it as much as you can, but understand that as you become more skilled with the warrior class, you’ll likely come to the same conclusion. Fury is truly meant for the most dedicated players.

I will never betray a warrior arms)
And I would bet on simplicity.
The Fury Warrior is a chaotic fighter who swings his axes in battle without thinking.
Arms is a warrior of balance of rage and discipline. He is like a Spartan who pierces the enemy with a clear movement of the spear. He is a samurai who waits for the moment to deliver the fatal blow.)

Thank you for your romanticized view of the Arms spec, but honestly, it’s very subjective. As an experienced warrior in both PVP and PVE, I can say that Arms is designed for beginners. Its rotation involves mindlessly spamming four buttons like a slot machine, with everything essentially proccing for free. There’s hardly any reason for Arms to even use rage.
In contrast, Fury warriors must carefully time their incredible bursts within a rotation that demands a significant amount of rage to execute correctly. Unlike Arms, Fury lacks stuns or immunity effects like Bladestorm. Fury is also more gear-dependent, which adds to its complexity. In PVP, Fury requires more frequent stance swapping to react properly to the fight.
Frankly, your message comes across as if it was written by someone who is 12. I recommend trying Fury first and seeing how challenging it is to perform well with this spec. In terms of skill, playing Arms is like playing a slot machine for beginners.

Perhaps you are not talking about the classics. Because, at least in LK and Cata - fury is a lost class. I have seen more than one attempt to reproduce the game on fury, but they all ended in failure.
I know a lot of people who would disagree with you, both warrior players and warrior slayers. Fury is meat for them.
It’s unfortunate, but it’s true. A class can be called full-fledged only when it can compete with others.
Unfortunately, Fury is not capable of this. Therefore, it makes no sense to talk about a dead class.
I also enjoy your fight for fury. However, after so many years, I no longer have hope for the development of the dead class.
Classic cataclysm is not the same client as the OG cataclysm. In fact all classic version of wow is a port of the old game onto the modern wow client.
Private server works usually with old client. So there might be differences in pathing between both clients, that’s not impossible.
I do remember 2011 heroic leap being quite permissive. I remember leaping over gap i wouldn’t be able to charge through.

Dead class? You mean spec, right? Let me tell you something and to all developers.
Cataclysm’s class design has serious issues. Talking about warriors, Fury was the top PvE melee DPS spec from Vanilla through WOTLK, while Arms was always the best spec for PvP. This setup made sense: Arms for PvP, Fury for PvE.
In Cataclysm, if Arms is the only viable spec for both PvE and PvP, Fury loses its purpose. This is poor game design. The recent nerfs to Fury are too harsh and poorly thought out. You know why? Because they are the same as in the past. The developers haven’t even reconsidered all the critiques it received in the past and which still persist on private servers. But do you want to know why Fury should stay the best PvE melee DPS spec in the game?
- Fury warriors are the most gear-dependent class. They’re weak at the start due to this dependency, making it hard to get into end-game content.
- They also need to farm two two-handed weapons for Titan’s Grip, which is difficult.
- They have the worst possible option for competitive PvP. No other spec from any other class is as bad as Fury in PvP due to the lack of required abilities.
- Overall, warriors are the hardest class to level up, even though leveling in Cataclysm is easier than in the past.
Because of these challenges, Fury should stay the best end-game PvE DPS spec. Currently, it’s below average at both the start and end of the expansion. This needs fixing to give Fury warriors a clear role again.

Sounds like this is a huge boon to all warriors then, since now they only need to get one set of gear and spec to do all content with, and also a boon for the rest of your raid since your no longer slowing gearing of the whole raid by needing additional weapons.
Yeah, heroic leap was definitely never as bugged as it is now. I cant even leap DOWN a 2cm ledge, its horrid and i dont even wanna talk about leaping up.
Honestly gamebreaking and beyond me how this went through beta
You can also continue with how trinketing throwdown should still make you unable to move for a second or two which also doesnt work.
Warrior is horrible as it is in PvP already compared to certain other classes and these bugs wont make it easier

Yesterday I made sure that I can’t jump in a direction where the terrain just goes up without obstacles.
This is terrible.
