I don´t even use a healing addon per se anymore because I got sick and tired of redoing half my interface every second patch, so sometime in Mists I switched to just having decursive in addition to the raidframes and healing with mouseover.
If you “need” an addon to deal with anything at a less than Mythic raid level and it´s not becasuse of a disablilty, the main problem is probably not the encounter design, it´s more likely to be sitting behind the keyboard.
It´s neither, and the Dungeon finder is working fine. ANd the issue is much more pronounced in heroics than it is in normals, because someone somewhere is always leveing a tank or healer via dungeons.
It´s just not finding enough tanks and heals to partner with the flood of DDs in HC because
many if not most of us are done with our pre season gearing and no longer running dungeons, or
we don´t run them in Pugs anymore to begin with because we´re sick and tired of being the scapegoat for every failbob’s death to avoidable damage in addition to being the only ones actually playing mechanics and caring what the flubb is going on around us.
So as a result all that´s left in the queue is a huge amount of DDS, many of which COULD tank or heal (and will claim at every possible turn that they can do it better anyway), but refuse to actually do so even if it means insane queue times, because doing so requires them to do more than faceroll their 5 button rotation and scream for a rez when they kill themselves.
II didn’t at all you did, I said through devls.
99% of the player base doesn’t care about world first.
‘literally millions of us WILL leave’ most do lfg, raiding has been dying for years and blizzard know it, most don’t do it. M+ will be next as its inaccessible to the vast majority.
Single player 2/3 content will be king, why? because the masses will do it over grouping, which has become a hardship for many.
ROFL, that´s rich… I can alt least provide verifiable numbers to support my statements thanks to sites like raiderIO, wheras you base you entire statements on wishful thinking, yet you accuse me of being in a “Bubble”. Are you the comedy relief for this weekend?
Over half a million independent views on just Echo’s broadcast of the last RWF say otherwise, unless WoW suddenly has >50 million players
Maybe it´s you that should get out of your own little bubble and look at actual data, instead of presenting your personal wishes and desires as gospel and “everybody want´s this” like so many thousands of misguided souls before you, that time has consistently and without fail proved to be full of themselves and not very much more.
Because unlike you, I also do not presume to speak for a supposed majority of the playerbase that never existed to begin with. Simply because, as even the devs have repeatedly admitted, the only majority among WoW players is “wow player”, everything else is a minority with crossover into other minorities.
And you stating otherwise will have just as little effect on this obvious fact as all of the people that came before you, and all of them that will come after you.

You can use the left most tab “raids” and teh one next to it “mythic +” to reference total raid participation (in guilds, so not even including pugs or communities) and total M+ participation to your heart´s content, and se that the supposed dropoff may have once existed, but has since long recovered and is as healthy or even healthier than it was 10 years ago. I’m not going to flood the thread with 2 dozen posts from every tier and season just to accomodate your wishful thinking.
As DPS the queue for heroics has not been much worse than ± 8 minutes so far here. As tank/healer it’s close to instant.
But…heroics don’t really grant any relevant rewards anyways. Even without dungeoning you’ll be on a decent gear-level. And the difficulty isn’t really interesting either. So I’m not surprised that the roles who can queue close to instant are done quickly with them; that’s inevitable and enhances the already uneven distribution of roles.
Nobody has to suck it up, nor should they.
And the results are clear now.
Nobody in a community like Scared of Dungeons, Fail Train, Dungeon Dojo and multiple others is lacking for tanks and healers.
Simply because there is nothing to be “sucked up”.
Players should stop complaining about the PuG scene (It’s too toxic, queues are too long, no healers, players leave after getting loot blah blah) and just join a guild or comunity. It’s been like this since WoD (all the complaints then about players leaving dungeons after completing their dungeon quest from their Inn).
Thats the problem.
You both que as heal and tank.
When you solo que as heal or tank thats where the bad part is.
People expect to rush everything like they are in disneyland.
The only people that content is invalidated for are people actively playing the seasonal content. Many people that arent insufferable tryhards and doesn´t see a need to clear all the content day 1 wwill still be leveling, and the tryhards will still be screwing up their chance to expereince the content.
Especially since many of them (unfortunately mostly tanks and healers) will still be running it and spreading their toxic “my way or the highway!” BS since they want augment runes, because otherwise they “can´t” clear nhc or +2s
Almost makes me want to set up and queue a 3 man group just so we can easily votekick the toxitards and help at least a few people see that their BS is not something anyone needs to put up with, there is in fact an alternative.
And as a fat bonus we know the tryhard hyperrusher is punching the wall or smashing his keyboard because his “fast easy rune” is now a 30 minute deserter debuff and 10 valorstones.
It doesnt matter. Theses people doing heroic dungeons at this point. Once seasons start they will all quit doing heroic dungeons so your queues will skyrocket.
That is intentional, becuase when push comes to shove, i have no problem fighting fire with fire.
If people want to force their playstyle onto others and then act all high and mighty, then I´ll start forcing them to take a well deserved break. What´s good for the goose is good for the gander.
And it´s painfully obvious that they have no intention of even trying to see the other side of the coin, much less adapt to others, because they don´´t even accept that they too have a right to exist and play the game. So why exactly should I continue to accept their behaviour and let them play their game?
