High elves and blood elf Customization's

Sure but I want the whole Blood elf/High elf thing to stop. Yes I am a high elf fan But that does not mean I don’t think about the horde.

A small part of it, The nighthold.

Majority of it is basically “A disguise? Who goes there?!”

But I guess it’s better than a burned Tree

This is a nice thread and i voice my support for these customizations.

The message of working together and cooperating instead of fighting, though simple, isn’t spread, which is a bit disappointing, people should be more vocal on what they want for the race they like and not on what they don’t want for other races.

I am seeing more bickering about High Elves in this post and i wish it weren’t happening anymore now that it seems Blizzard is willing to give a good compromise, so, from someone who went through a lot of High Elf forum fighting, there’s something i wanna express.

I’ve gone through a phase were i was combative in discussions regarding High Elves, i had a tendency of getting irritated and behaving badly, and that had bad consequences for me. Nowadays i regret most of what i did, but unfortunately for me i don’t think i can regain the privileges i had no matter how cool and nice i act now.

I used to get in High Elf bickering very often, it wasn’t fun, it’s not something i miss doing, but it was something i tended to get into automatically, almost if i had an addiction and was attracted to it against my inner will.

And it didn’t made sense, in a lot of ways i wasn’t even proposing anything, i was just fighting against anyone who were against High Elves, with no point or reason, i was doing it literally because i was doing it. I was freed from this combative state regarding High Elves through force, and since i don’t want this to be enforced to anyone, i have a lesson to teach:

It’s only a game, there are way bigger things to be worried about, even in the game itself, i know some people get disappointed and upset about the direction the game has gone in BfA and want to express their negative feelings on the forums, but look at what is ahead of us, Shadowlands is looking promising and Blizzard is more open to hear our claims and complaints, there’s a lot of bad things in the game, but there are many good things, let the positive prevail over the negative, and more importantly, stay safe.

A Hordie would say that, right? Blood Elves have far more options than Night Elves. Orcs, Trolls and Goblins haven’t properly been completed so stop your whining. Nightborne should get nothing because they’re what they’re supposed to be, like the other Horde elves, addicts. They weren’t even meant to get dark hair but with all the Horde whining they got it. Anyone ever seen a dark haired Nightbourne in Suramar before? No, that’s what I thought.

High Elvers moan ,yes, but there’s a 20 year old reason for that. Horde just moan at anything and everything and because most of the devs like Ion, Chris, etc play Horde the devs just do it. Alliance has been pooed on since Metzen left.

I dont care about blood or high elves, I’m an OG Elf lover. And as such I’m right and my demands are more important. Aha

Night Elves need more options like more regal hair so mages can finally look like Highbourne Shen’dralar. They also need LOONGER hair options, red hair, red eyes to play as the undead Night Elf that rejoined the kaldorei and the ability to have blind eyes without the scars.

Actually im not whining, all im seeing is alliance players doing that. I’m fine with whatever blood elves get do i like the changes no but i’ll live with it, not gonna make 60 topics about it.
To me it sounds you are very biased towards alliance as well so i dont think you should tell me to shut it  .
I’ve said it multiple times i dont care what races are getting but im more worried that 1 allied race is getting more than any other just because of all this whining and i personally dont see this as fair. Dont care if theres 20 years of moaning because hordes happened to get the high elves first.
Nightborne customizations are horrid. The faces the hairstyles are just bad. I dont care about hair colors that much they are fine but the faces bother me. All of them look old.

Why you want to limit the Costimuzation for even 1 allied race while you can ask for other allied to get the same. Yeah the true purpose is obvious here.

Don’t be upset over a video game because you are biased to horde.

So basically rip off belfs some more?

I don’t think you get the purpose of Velfs. They are meant to be different that belfs down to their racial.

And by the way, tossing belfs some red eyes and calling it “even” is extremely deceitful. Just a little something from you to show that you are so generous when you rip them off. Please.

No more belf sharing. Enough.

You obviously didnt understand a word i said just now. I’m simply saying 1 allied race shouldnt be getting more than everyone else. With that i mean alliance and horde allied races im not simply just talking about belfs. NIghtborne customization came up because they have such bad ones but im not alone talking about nightborne. 1 allied race should not be getting everything and anything when rest of them arent getting much. ( this was mentioned that they wouldnt be focusing on allied races that much this time ). If other races get same amount then its fine ok but giving everything to Voidies just because of some RP group wants to be something they arent isnt fair for the rest of the players. I’ve now said this 50 times and im done. If people think me thinking of other races as well is selfish and entitled then i cant help you.

Yes im horde player always will be and im not ashamed of that fact.

Again instead of limiting that for some allied race, Ask it for everyone. Lol So biased that even can’t read anything.

Like I said before this thread is for high elf and blood elf players because the fighting that was going on all the time and when we reached this goal we can stop fighting.

Yeah i noticed my own mistake in that message but was too lazy to fix it…
i was supposed to write its funny you call void elves high elves but leave blood elves as blood elves. Both are high elves originally just took on new names and few new cosmetic looks.

So I don’t understand why people are making a huge fuss about what we are asking. We are not stealing anything from the blood elves. And even if we were you can easly say give us some void elf hair styles or hair colors but instead with void give us the light.

Even as a Blood Elf fanatic, I’d say three hair colours actually.

Alleria Blonde, Vereesa Gray and black.
I’d also say that the female void elves should have gotten both Vereesa’s hairstyle and the high pony tail.
Male void elves should have got the Courier Larkspur’s hair style and perhaps the “Rommath” ponytail.

I just hope they will get natural hair colors and a way to toggle their void form.

Their void form only appears while combatting. I think it makes them unique, that’s basically what a void elf is. It will work similar to Alleria, if you choose the normal skin: Look normal outside of combat, but go fully void when combatting.

If natural skin colors were a mile, natural hair colors are going to be an inch, for me, giving Void Elves High/Blood Elf skins but not natural hair colors feels like a lot of wasted potential, so close they got, yet so far from the mark they hit.

At this point, i want natural colors so much that i wouldn’t care much about the rest of the options they might get.

Entropic Embrace (which i think is what you mean with void form) is something that in my opinion should stay untouched, it only triggers sometimes in combat, and players usually don’t pay a whole lot of attention to the way they characters look when they’re fighting, it’s so minor it don’t bother me.

But, if the artists have spare time and resources, i would appreciate if they could come with customizations for Entropic Embrace, but there are way too many other things i want to get as customization options for Void Elves that i would consider more interesting and compelling, like Void patterned tattoos, Ranger tattoos like the ones Alleria have, skin tones that mix Void and Natural colors, long and normal hairstyles, and a way to toggle the tentacles on the hairstyles that have them, and jewelry, lots of jewelry.

I think it’s a cool concept.

“Even tough the vain Void Elves found ways to preserve the natural beauty of their heritage by masquerading the shadows within them, in the heat of combat, the unconstrained Void erupt from their bodies, revealing what’s inside of them, and granting the Ren’dorei great powers.”

Yup. I actually love that racial. It’s kinda like a pretty Emo elf on the outside, but a vampire shadow witch while combatting.

Personally, the fact they have the normal skin is enough for me. This alone made me decide I’ll probably main a void elf in Shadowlands. I’m giving her blue Hair, blue eyes, and normal skin

If they do end up not giving natural hair, which is more than likely due to the complaints the horde have, then that’s fine with me. It makes them more unique this way. Where they have High elf skin, but void colored hair. It’s kinda like half half.
It will different them more from the belfs, and make them unique this way. Maybe that’s why they haven’t announced it?

The closest you could do, is choose the Grey available hair, natural skin, blue eyes and you’ll basically have a Vereesa looking High elf.

But personally, I don’t think Blonde should be added at all. Keep it unique to the Blood elves, same with the other natural hair.

Maybe they could add Black as it matches the Gothy/ Emo aesthetic, but that’s it.
