As some mentioned earlier. When Velves were added, the horde belf player population kind of fell.
In other words. There is an abundantly clear wish for the high elves in alliance, that people were willing to swap to the monkeys paw for them.

And that is bad because it would destroy player balance.
The ugliest thing in this whole discussion is the denial of the High Elves and their rightful choice to stand with the Alliance
It’s heartbreaking to see how their history is twisted and rewritten to fit someone else’s narrative
And it’s even worse to watch the constant attacks from loud haters who refuse to accept the truth. They mock, they shout, they try to silence those who simply wish to play their beloved race - the High Elves, a symbol of pride, loyalty, and elegance within the Alliance
But no matter how hard they try, the High Elves will always have their place in Azeroth, and in the hearts of those who never stopped believing in them
