High latency in EU servers - Tracing them shows that lag comes from US blizz servers?

Hello, I would like to apologize but I am just trying to fix my connection to WoW and am by no means expert in the area.

I am playing on EU Ravencrest and in order to trace the problem with high latency I have:

  1. Opened Resource Monitor (windows) - then at WoW.exe data at Network tab the following “Remote Address” are having high latency
  • 137.221.104.171
  • 137.221.105.232
  • 137.221.105.136

  1. I have then traced those connections and found out that the trace takes me to through US servers where the lag starts and I have connected my Internet provider to change the route

  2. They have changed some settings but the problem remained, then I finally realized its the Blizzard’s adress thats in the US so eventually the Internet provider will always need to choose similar route because…the servers are in the US

So is this normal and why am I having issues with American IP’s on EU servers while playing from Europe.

that nonsense is getting on my nerves !! Why are we paing for?? not even an aswer

I don’t know about those specifics you were trying to figure out, but regardless of that I know that from yesterday I’ve had a crazy lag and it stops sometimes, but I still do have it especially in dungeons (like ms 2000). And I’ve tried everything to fix it but now I’m sure it’s not on my end.
This is what they need to fix asap

I have the same issue i dont know whats the problem but when i go inside Mythic + keys i have 7k world ms… the problem started 3 days before… i have opened ticket and always i get back an automatic message that says bullshet inside…!!

Exact same issue here completely random 3k+ ms makes game unplayable. Problem started 3 days ago for me.

Getting big world and sometimes home ping spikes while playing. It’s unplayable for days. I wasted days trying to fix ping problem.I though its my internet provider or something wrong with pc before i checked forums and realised…

Still happening the game is unplayable. So annoying! Also for me it started a few days ago.

It started for me as well 3-4 days ago.the other day i was doing the nightfall event and my world ms reached 10k lmao,i know they won’t fix it any time soon but one can hope they do!

Same here. Started 4 days ago. Either in open world or in dungeons I’m getting over 2k ms. Hope they find a solution asap.

I play on Kazzak and I have high lag issues. After porting to Dornogal I get like 3.5k ms, I have issues while playing M+, can’t do raids. The game is unplayable

Been happening to me a few times a day for about 2-3 weeks now. In undermine, delves, raid etc.
I’ve had to start using VPN as I cannot play the game otherwise.

Lots of people had similar issue last year, including me, and Blizzard did nothing so I wouldn’t hold my breath about a fix.

Balnazzar server in EU , just logged in, 13000+ world ms , i am not even going to try and play till its fixed

It’s the same story for me for the past 3 days. It’s very flaky and I’ve tried also disabling all of my addons - but the lag is still there.

It hits me whether in Dornogal or in a dungeon. I’m not going to renew my subscription if this doesn’t get resolved in a matter of days.

I have same.problem. from 4-5 days now the game is unplayable at all. OVER 6K.MS instantly when i log in game. I play on Kazzak realm from EU …i was thinking is my pc problem but with other game MUCH HAVIER GAME i have NO PROBLEM AT ALL. so we aste money on game we can’t play becayse they cant fix theur owm problems…i cant believe
