Same problem. Massive random ms spikes, then it drops to normal, over and over for last 4-5 days. The game is unplayable atm.
Same here. The game is completely unplayable. I think canceling the sub is the way for me. Ive had enough of this. It
s been almost a week and all I get is some automatic AI responses to my tickets.
Blizzard answer after 10+ tickets
I can understand your situation and that you have contacted us again because of the MS issues. We have seen multiple post being made about this issue and are aware that it has been going on for a few days now. We do have to say though that as Game Master we are not able to give out much information when this will be fixed.
In this situation, I would kindly ask you be patient and keep your eyes open in the forum. You can also have a look from time to time in the post that you also found about this matter. The more people that are giving information to this issue, the faster our developers can work on it.
It would go an extremely long way if a blue came here just to say āHey, we know about this.ā, even if a time table or cause cannot be given. Sometimes things canāt be fixed quickly, especially if the issue is outside their jurisdiction. On the answer to my ticket, the GM told me they also have some issues or something, but then I read someone posting another ticket where the GM told them they are not aware of any issues. So, which is true? An official acknowledgement would at least confirm itās not us, so people donāt phone their ISPs over this or tamper with their settings and breaking other stuff.
Right. Itās been two weeks, no one from BlizzSh!t even cared to acknowledge here the problem. Iām canceling my subscription and forgetting about this garbage company.
Just a theory butā¦
Could this have anything to do with electricity outage in Spain and Portugal a few days ago?
Because apparently Greenland had problems randomly, which was confirmedā¦
Here is Reuters title (cant post links, just google it)
Greenland satellite services restored after Spanish blackout
if this keeps going you really gotta refund us all. Itās ridiculous. We didnāt pay for the game to log in and see things move every 30 secondsā¦
Hey, just logged to say I have the same problems.
East Europe here ,so my isp is different then wests.
1st login no problems then changing from ArgentDawn to Ragnaros makes my Ragnaros character to jump to 10k ms and slowly fading.
Depleted some random guyās key because of it and almost quited filling my vault. For m+rās seems alt+F4 works if you do it right after it starts lagging after the 1st pull.
I guess no key pushing till it gets fixed.
Edit: How do you guys find the right ipās to tracert/ping/pingpath?Iām checkinh the ipās connected to the games exe in the computers resource monitor.
Its a massive problem in PvP too. In world I can randomly get 100ish ms. When i join solo shuffle or bg it skyrockets to 1-5k. Lost ton of rating because of lag.
Problem required urgent investigation and fix.
Even when i try to play from geforce now latency is 5-15 k and drops me⦠No responce from Blizzard at allā¦
Having same issue and its very frustrating and annoying.
Issue is very clearly on blizzardās end: I tried vpn, flushed dns, verified traceroutes to eu logon worldofwarcraft com are different, open game: latency randomly spiking as before, observe random delays when using any ability. Tried couple different vpn location options, same story.
I have the same issue. Im from Poland my isp - play.pl
DISCLAIMER: This is a VPN solution but should be the most cost efficient and should 99% solve the issue and allow you to play uninterrupted until this garbage company gets their sh1t together.
Windscribe VPN allows you to customize your āpremiumā plan with a minimum cost of 3$ (2,67ā¬) and has a free tier with a bunch of servers and a 10GB limit that should allow you to test and verify that it actually fixes the problem.
Blizzard servers are hosted for the most part in Paris, but Iāve seen some IPs originating in the Netherlands so, based on your location, the following VPN servers in the free tier should be the ones that you test: France/Germany/Netherlands/Switzerland. Play around and see where you have the best ping.
If you decide to upgrade, choose Build A Plan and āUnlimited Dataā + Italy + Austria. That should allow plenty of options to optimize your latency.
In all honesty, if they canāt fix their game that $3 dollar bill should be covered by them. I, personally am not going to pay another cent to either VPN or Blizzard until I get to have the service I already paid for.
Still waiting on that fix or refund.
Exactly!
I already pay to my ISP, and I also pay to Blizzard to play the game, Iām not going to pay for a VPN now!
