High Population server vs Low Population server

Im playing in a medium server (dreadmist) and its impossible to find a group to do low level dungeons. All people buying mages boost and things like that. Is it normal? Yesterday i wanted to complete Deadmines quests and i had to pay someone to rush Deadmines for me, and it wasnt easy to find someone. So theres no essence in the game. Everybody wants it fast, wants fast level, ok i want it too but not in that way, hiring mages. I enjoy when i group with low level players and we have to tryhard to win the dungeons and complete the quests. So im thinking to switch in a high population server. But im afraid of the login queues , people are saying that you have to wait even hours to log in. So whats the point playing in a medium server when you cant even find a group for dungeons. I thought that happens in low population but in medium? its ridicolous. I cant stay 4 hours in front of my laptop lfg, what a waste of time, people have to work. Deadmines its a very popular dungeon , first ally dungeon and i had to wait 4 hours, imagine doing non popular dungeons, 2 days. It feels really bad playing in a dead server, whats the point of having the best gear and you dont have people to play with? It feels very bad when you dont find people to do dungeons. Imagine having a low level epic weapon, it feels good but if you feel alone it loses value, its like ok i have and what? i kill mobs super fast and thats it. Its not the same going to a dungeon, dealing a lot of damage and people are like wow nice damage. I dont know, im feeling bad. Should i switch on High server or its the same? What are the pros and cons of high pop server?

You are not really asking pro’s and cons of high pop server in reality you are trying to make blizzard do something to mage boosting

Pros and cons high pop server to you:
+More players
-More mage boosters

Pros and cons high pop server to me:
+More people to duel with
-Atmosphere is worse than in low/med pop server

In medium population, theres no people outside stormwind making duels. It feels like empty. I dont have nothing with mages, but i feel that they ruined a bit the experience. If they didnt exist, there wont be boosters. Or yes but not in that extrem way. All what i want is low level dungeons, its hard to find groups. In high population is there the same problem?

You might have better chances to find regular groups on a high pop server but atm it is just the state of the game but hardly any new people come in and most just want to get their 3rd or 5th alt boosted asap. I’ve read complains here even from ppl from the biggest realms that there are hardly any low level dungeon groups anymore.

I play on a medium server myself (Skullflame) and it’s mostly boosting as well, every few days I see regular groups going for low level dungeons. It might help to /w people directly using /who if you just have to fill certain roles.

At the momen there is no servers with queues but there might be queues around the AQ event on some of the biggest serves. If you are not in a rush and want to make sure wait a few weeks into P5 before transfering to a big server.

It also depends on what you want from the game. If you want to level characters all the time you might be better off on a big server due to higher chances to find groups. But if you mostly play on your raid geared 60ies like me imho a medium server is the better choice. It’s way easier to farm consumables in the open world, I don’t really need dungeon groups anymore and if I’m bored I jump in as tank or we go with a guild group.
