true. i was askin myself the same. without end date for sure ppl who are intersted aill rush but its a bit unjust to all playerbase.

The advantage of getting the Fire whirl + mana sphere/ rime arrow + vanish/whirl + fae form is huge
Finally got round to playing and…OMG, this is total crap!
WHy on earth tease us with this PVP garbage when a huge majority of the players are PVE!
The only time I was enjoying myself was when I was pootling around collecting treasure and killing mobs without anybody bothering me!
Did they just decide that DF was doing too well and they needed to bring it back down to SL levels of player satisfaction!!?
Maybe people were too happy about not having «forced» grinds so they decided to fix it

Small tip: at the start of a match you get a “world quest” worth 250. Kill 10 enemies, loot 2 chests, something like that. Prioritize that and least you have a tenth of a level.
Nothing like losing 1v1 away from getting #1… /reeeeeee

I tried it now. I was interested before, but after playing it for a couple of hours I don’t really enjoy this mode in its current form. Main points of criticism:
- Rate of plunder acquisition is too low / too much plunder required for reputation levels.
- Abilities are too imbalanced and acquiring them comes down to RNG.
- Level differences impact the outcome of PvP encounters too much.
- The combat feels clunky and often unresponsive.
After I played a few rounds normally, I switched to a more time efficient approach: I try to finish the quest for 250 plunder, kill a few elites or open some chests, then just run into the storm and go again. Running around and trying to PvP for a very uncertain outcome isn’t efficient use of time, and it’s also frustrating if you face someone whose level is higher or who found upgraded OP abilities. I don’t see myself doing this for another 30+ hours, though.
they way is to stay away from fights and farm low health players because when you dont do it players will do it anyway. this is so freaking bad. holy cow what a waste of resource.

Can’t wait to reach to low point that WoW will also have Campfire Chat for excuse. This garbage is a huge step to this scenario.
I managed to get people killed thrice by following me into the storm. Very satisfying!.. and to rub it in, I survived and ran back out one of the times.
Seriously? First foray to check out what it is about and I was dead before I even worked out how to run away. I’ll leave it a week or two and go in when everyone else has given up on it…oh - wait…

Smart use of the environment, impressive.
My favourite kill was a person who refused to turn his character and faced the mountain while i slashed them.
Sadly the rest of the gamers in this mode are not like this hero, who won my heart.
I kind of want to see what a global chat on this mode would be like
