I agree that the 30 instance limit is going to be annoying for people who want to spend more than 6 hours across Friday evening and Saturday daytime farming for SVGC, but to describe spending 6 hours in a row logging into wow once an hour as “extremely casual” is significantly overstating the argument.
Casual players are those who wouldn’t even bother farming SVGC in the first place and will just take whatever loot drops as they are playing for fun. “Extremely casual” players have been playing since launch and still haven’t hit 60.
People’s mindset = I play for x hours a day. I am normal. Player who plays for x - 1 hours a day are casual noobs/ malding gamer dads and people who play for x + 1 hours A day are no life, try hard, sweaty, parents basement dwelling welfare recipients.
Good luck shifting that from the general forum mindset

This is no different than driving man, anyone who drives slower than you is a moron, anyone who drives faster than you is a lunatic.
The people hit the hardest by this change are people who may have been able to play hardcore for 1 - 2 days a week, but barely play at all the other 5 - 6.
If all my points are invalid and I think I was wrong, does that mean I was right and I am entitled to tell people how to spend their time? And that this is a great way for Blizzard to solve the problem?
I would agree on weekly, however the drawback is hypothetically if you accidently hit the cap, you’ll be out for whatever the remainder is for a 168 hour window.
Would a 60 cap over a 48 hour window be too silly? Because for some folks keeping a less simple tally would have such an off putting feeling.
well, let me tell you this; i actually happened to find an SGC last night, and that was after well over 400 brd arena runs, and after testing in ZG today i actually managed to hit a 100 parse on one of the bosses in zg, with the rest being all 95 or above. (or so they would have, if i didn’t go overboard on mandokir and got myself killed)
should clue you in on just how valuable some of these items are, and why people are willing to endure actual hell to get them.
