I wish I didn’t relate to this as much as I do. Sometimes you just want to try and minimise the amount of thirsty people out there, even if you can’t be rid of them entirely.
Blatant ERP approaches are thankfully rare but they are remarkably uncomfortable.

Pretty sure since we are on a +12 game, Blizzard would rather not have people write slurs and homophobic stuff into /S and trying to hide away with “Hurhur my character is evil” pretty much also just boils your character down to being crap for the sake of being crap?

Reminder that we all are in full, 100% control of our characters’ actions. We decide every word that comes out of their mouth, every prejudice they hold. People don’t dislike ERPers because “s*x doesn’t exist in WoW”, they do because 1. it’s against ToS, 2. it shows that the outside player is a bit of a weirdo, because they made them do this.
It’s possible to write a dislikeable villainous character without oppressing anyone. The Lich King never said the F slur when he wiped out Lordaeron.

Let people do what they want, but if you see them using offensive language, report them.
Too weakbrained to think of any way to make my character seem bad other than homophobia. Imagine having such a shallow concept and thinking it’s worth touting as “good, actually”.
Has it come to your attention that Warcraft as a universe is no place for Homophobia? There are depictions of prejudice and speciesim, but there is absolutely no base for Homophobia.
If you want to play your “Super cool badass, xenophobic guy who totally drinks 100% alcohol and pisses on ‘snowflakes’” I don’t think you are generally in the right RP community to begin with.
IC is IC, but I hope you change how your character acts due to the feedback you have received here today.

The people who find this funny are generally just brats.
That said. Ive seen thousands of people using foul language on a daily basis in SW and never saw them ever getting banned for it.
Guess GMs dont care so we gotta suck it up and just avoid the company you dont like.
Or we make an effort as a community to call out these behaviours and start seperating ourselves from players and characters who engage with them.
But they wont do anything about it because Blizzard doesnt care about EU.
They already stated that the tickets are being clogged + sacking the 800 interns is making the whole lot pointless.
Since it happened, 9/10 of my problems have never been solved by GMs.
The customer service has gone downhill.
List of complaints has a priority in this game. Daddy Blizzy can only do so much 
Then if you want to help, I reccomend following the example I’m hoping to set in this thread. Disassociate from people using these sorts of terms in-character, give them none of your time. If to protest a video you game you don’t like is to vote with your wallet, then to protest these behaviours is to vote with your time, and sparing these people none of it.
For instance, I rather want all the Goldshire Ftas to be permabanned in this game before they solve the whole “foul language” problem.
