You can roleplay being homophobic, and everyone else can point out how garbage you are for roleplaying something that has no basis in the game’s lore.
If you’re incapable of writing good characters/interesting stories without incorporating homophobia somewhere into the narrative, you’re just bad at roleplaying.

I have many characters who don’t really care. Two of them are in same sex relationships.
I am just arguing for not villainsing people trying to play their characters with reasonable justification to do so.

I’ve already distinguished between what I consider bad RP.
But it seems I am unable to change your mind on my own justifications, which is fine. You are entitled to your own opinion and I don’t recall you trying to slander me by accusing me personally of things which are not true.
So I think we can live and let live in this regard.

I’ve given justification many times. As they are the basis for some of my characters views on same sex couples and people who refuse to reporduce (in the context of blood elves, other races I don’t particularly care about).
They will not let this one slide Irelia they will constantly remind of you of how wrong you are xD
And ofc how right they are, after all forum brigade did write THE official RP rulebook.

Those you speak of will have taken into account the things we’ve been saying on this thread and gone “well, actually, maybe this behaviour isn’t the best thing for my characters and roleplay, and maybe I can give my character negative traits without lessening the experience of a marginalized group of people.”
Why, again, you’d advocate for people getting “thicker skin” over the community simply acting more welcoming I frankly have no idea. Just don’t be a homophobe in-character when other forms of prejudice are more lore-friendly, less offensive OOC, and all-around more tasteful.
