I saw some discussion about civility then skipped over 300 posts to throw out this hot reminder that just because you’re not being directly insulting/cursing doesn’t mean you’re “civil”. If I politely suggest that, perhaps, the economy might be improved if we kill all the poor, that’s not civil. No, not even if I suggest we raise VAT at the same time.
Likewise if I casually suggest that maybe discrimination is good, actually, but couch it in ‘intellectual’ terms or ‘thought experiments’? Also not “civil”. BElf Shapiro should not be your role model.

COAD doesn’t update enough and I would unironically write slam pieces for them against myself if they asked because I consider that blog part of the PCU cultural heritage
The truth is: the PCU would probably just be RG/HoC if not for that kind of thing. Every time my meter for crazy PCU bad content fills up I am forced to instantly create a guild or run a campaign. In fact the fact that both me and COAD are the only two people who use light theme discord is pretty fishy. You know what they say about the duality of man

From what I’ve seen in the past too, people who act out of line in general are dealt with as swiftly as possible. I recall when the forum narrative about why the PCU/Rotgarde is bad, was a year or so ago, revolved around that apparantly a noncy(Or something other terrible, I dont completly remember) person had been in the community for a very very brief time and therefore it was supported by everyone.
…Despite the fact that the person was kicked litterally the very first moment Perroy & the other officers found out about them. So apparantly the evidence that the guild/community was being managed, was meant to showcase that it…wasnt? It was very confusing.
Anyway, time for me to go to bed. Have a good evening AD

It’s not support, I just believe that there’s two sides to every story and I look to take both sides into account. You shouldn’t see things as being one way or the other, you should look at both things. And from what I’ve seen and experience, I know that while some reports are a false, that isn’t the case for them all.
I didn’t really want to get harassed if I’m being honest, and things have been said to me in the past for raising questions about you and your community. But yeah, you have my main man, do what you will. I have my friends and people I roleplay with. I don’t think it’s going to change because I’ve raised some concerns I have about you and your community members.
It’s cool you have a big community dude. Congratulations, that’s an achievement. I just don’t think you should go around creating rules and regulations for everyone else. Yeah, people should abide by the ToS, but your word isn’t law on every matter.
I respect that policy and there’s noting wrong with it. I just don’t like how some of your members conduct themselves on the forums. They can behave in the way they want, but I don’t necessarily think they are always pleasant.
Yeah we clocked that ‘someone with a PCU guild tag called me a poohead’ was the entire motivation for trying and failing to insinuate that it was foundationally homophobic pretty early on

That’s incorrect. I said I had a problem with the PCU, not that it was homophobic. I mentioned the comments of Krasarang and Morsteth and that was it.

How can PCU members claim to support no homophobia IC, but come and say that they don’t care about it when it happens OOC, or that that it doesn’t matter OOC according to them?
