Also its abit of a big brain moment to cast out people for such reasons after almost being wiped out.

Perhapes not out right homophobia. BUT there are not fare from Racism (WHICH are in the Warcraft lore. Just play Warcraft 3 blood elf campaign) to Homophobia. Don’t get me wrong I am not condoning OOC homophobia nor have I ever played a Homophobic character. But still if someone RP as one and do it will I can’t see why they shouldn’t be allowed to do so… And if a LBQT person gets in a titsy over it that’s THEY problem. If they can’t Separate IC from OOC they shouldn’t be on an RP server in the first place.

Doesn’t matter how you try to justify yourself or others. We’ve been told by the writers. It is not a thing.

I feel like this is a weak argument. Because again, even back when Warcraft was still finding its footing and regressive just for the sake of it/cus it was the style in fantasy at the time, EVEN then, we had no homophobia.
Also just because something exists, doesnt mean that it automatically leads to that something else does.
You could use the same argument in saying that “Well, we got steam engines, so it’s not a far step away from having Ferraris, so people should be able to rp having race cars from our world.”
