Imagine believing one self so clear of sin they can cast stones at someone else.
I donât see how that answer applies to my question.
Do you have any evidence of Theya breaking the TOS? If not I see him free to throw stones crazily.
Wild that every time I come back to this thread thereâs a couple hundred more posts trying to justify homophobic roleplay. I really, really donât get it â sure, you might think itâs ârealisticâ to portray it or you believe people should have the right to do so, but itâs such a strange hill to die on. Why are you so emotionally invested in the roleplayerâs right to homophobia?
I think every possible and conceivable discussion point and debate has already been had; to continue coming back to the thread and pushing the point just doesnât accomplish anything â we are never going to acknowledge this particular brand of real world bigotry on WoW, and nor are we going to enable it.
And in turn do you have any of me doing the same? Where are the screenshots of my supposed homophobia?
except /kiss and /hug emotes ((thereâs even /cuddle and /boop right?)) are all accepted by ToS and arenât ERP or idk, maybe it is for you?
should i be surprised one of the dawnlighters do this
Because theyâre homophobic lol.
You claimed it yourself, you literally just cited yourself that you RP a homophobic character 10 posts ago.
Please keep up.
Thats because it doesnât, its just a petty answer.
Iâm going to take a more sympathetic position and say that most of them arenât homophobic â instead, I think theyâre weirdly misguided by some false points based on the freedom of speech and censorship. Itâs not much better, and it enables the actual homophobes of the server.
What reasons exist, or what bad reasons exist? Because Iâm not sure I follow in what exactly you want out of a request for an example of someone disliking someone for a reason that isnât a good one.
Iâve actually seen someone on AD role-playing a character with cancer. It didnât bother me because I donât see the lack of itâs inclusion in lore as inherently meaning it cannot exist so long as there isnât lore to state that it does not and cannot exist. Whether or not we think something can be role-played when thereâs no evidence for it one way or another is something that we can debate, thus I think using it for the argument here is bad when compared to the fact we can just state itâs against the ToS and point to that.
Yes, itâs head-canon when someone chooses to do these things, but our characters, guilds and the story-lines we all play out are made of head-canon, some with the approach of focusing more on what is stated to exist, others working looser with what isnât stated to not exist, to varying degrees.
Yes, but where did I say they express it openly?
Begins aggressively deflecting so he doesnât have to respond in earnest.
i want a plausible reason for homophobia to exist in wow
ive yet to see any in 3k posts.
begins aggressively memeing
How judgemental and presumptuous.
False.
I donât need your sympathy. The fact of the matter is nobody here is homophobic and anyone who says otherwise is a liar and a fool.
Prove it.
I agree. They made a mistake and now theyâre too deep to admit it so they have to double down. The only problem is that people are actually pretty forgiving, but dying on an awkward hill seems to be the meta for some people these days.
The whole âWE NEED TO REPOPULATEâ thing for Blood Elves is kinda⌠eh? I donât recall ever seeing it mentioned in any canon source, itâs just one of those headcanons that people whip out and plonk on the table like itâs established fact.
Implying
Iâm sorry I give up, youâre too daft to have an argument with, I hope a good nightâs sleep gives you some self reflection.
