Yeah I don’t have that second box, only muted sadly.
Yea. I was talking about the ToC. You know, the rules.
Things I write for a living.
I wasn’t even trying to make a point that time. I was talking about a petty joke I decided not to do.
I was just asking so Amdusias could do it.
Great. I don’t care.
Nice reaching. But a failed insult.
imagine defending your creative rights for homophobia for 7 hours straight
imagine slandering someone for seven hours.
can I expect to see you in court? Or will you call people replying to your messages on a forum stalkers again?
Programmers don’t write terms of service
What planet are you living on rn
I could have said that about your forum posting conduct for the past 8-9 hours youve spent on this thread but I guess im a better man
keep at it chump
That’s… odd.
you can only start ignoring people at trust level 1, if youre an altposter bottomfeeder you wont have it
You’re a programmar who writes ToC? Are you sure you want to lock in your answer?
you mean insinuating they would stalk me in game for any perceived slip up I might make.
No. We write logical rules for a computer to follow. Rules which need to be as flawless as possible to achieve a desired output for what we expect the system to do.
ToC are just logical instructions for humans.
Not typically for my job. But I have written rules similar to the ToC for other communities in the past.
Okay, that’s weird. Being able to ignore people shouldn’t be an option locked behind trust levels.
You literally made a fuss over people replying to your messages.
For the dear readers, click the arrow and just look thru the context, I can’t cite the entire back and forth there.
I’m more inclined to believe you’re just LARPing as someone who has a job.
Writing a forum post with a couple of rules amounting to ‘be nice to each other’ is not comparable to a legal document.
its irrelevant anyway when you can use a css editor tool to ash someone’s posts, but sadly that requires some basic coding knowledge and a bit of effort
Whatever. I don’t really care what you think. I still get paid.
Communication
When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice communication, group finder), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.
Hardly a legal document, isn’t it?
If you think he’s wrong, why don’t you correct him on how it really is? Right now you’re just throwing empty words in the wind. If you want to rebuke his statement, you need to construct an argument in response.
Terms of Service once accepted become legally binding contracts. So yea, it is.
Get back in the fight Irelia, you can literally google this.
Yeah, I’m something of a Discord Moderator myself.
