The two are not the same thing and, since the ToS’ context is in the real world the latter isn’t even a factor.
(*) We all have the right to be ‘racist’ to filthy humies due to the fact that we are all Humans here, only larger people can be anti-Kul Tiran though.

Maybe if you ask these people why they don’t like you, you will have a better understanding of how to fix it.
If somebody hates me, the first thing I do is ask why.
I don’t really care. I am rather patient and unphased by other people trying to belittle me.
In some situations I would agree. But these are the ToS. They need to be clear and accurate. People’s accounts they have put their money into are at stake.
And it doesn’t look like there is a special expectation for roleplayers.
So this ether lumps all roleplay under the generic ToS, which HIGHLY constricts it and ruins a lot of roleplay I am currently in, or it doesn’t apply at all. To which it is more of a … live and let live situation.

I am not someone to roll over and be walked over. The amount of times I was bullied when i was younger, incidentally for being avowedly out and proud has imbued me with a no-nonsense attitude to would be bullies and harassers.

Yes but anything which is bigoted against real races is against the ToS regardless of circumstance. The ToS doesn’t take RP specifically into account with regards to its rules on in-game communication.
Irelia, memeing aside I’m honestly trying to make you understand why people think you’re homophobic, but you seem completely unable to get why people think that way, even after numerous attempts.
What you’re doing is so incredibly embarrassing for you, your guild and everyone associated with you.
I don’t think this is true, otherwise you wouldn’t have cried about defamation and slander for 2 hours straight, I honestly believe you’ve got completely twisted and has no idea what you’re doing wrong at this point.

People think you’re homophobic, because:
- You have spent an incredible amount of time defending it.
- You grasp at straws along with Amdusias at any reason to get away with it, even if we assume there was lore legitimising it, this alone is incredibly concerning
- And you seem to be mindlessly liking the posts and cheerleading people who say they want to RP gay hating charaters, no matter their reasoning.
That’s why I personally percieve you as homophobic, and I believe that’s why many others do as well.
You can clarify your statements so you don’t look like a massive idiot. But your only defence has just been weird false equivalencies, just saying “No I’m not!” instead of adressing the accusation or randomly bringing up law terms you don’t understand.

Okay yes, you’re sticking up for yourself, but you’re also sticking to your guns on the whole “homophobia in RP is okay” front, right? Of course I understand somebody wanting to stick up for their name, to stick up for their reputation, but that’s not really the point here.
I don’t take issue with you, merely this one stance that you’ve been adamant to maintain, despite numerous people in numerous ways saying why it’s generally a bad idea and why it shouldn’t be done.
And maybe you can go back and look through the thread and pick out some point where I was frustrated and curt and maybe a little rude, I’ll not act as if I’ve maintained some flawless degree of decorum during this, I’ve certainly not. But the reason people have come to this conclusion of you being homophobic is because you’ve very much held the same position and stance that somebody who is homophobic would. That doesn’t mean people were right to insult or belittle you. That doesn’t mean that everyone anti-homophobia-in-RP has always conducted themselves to the best degree. But it’s not an unreasonable conclusion to come to.
Let’s say instead the thread was about not bringing IRL racial ideals into RP. That the point I was bringing up was that humans judging other humans for skin colour and stereotypes needed to stop, and you held the stance of it being okay to RP because it’s just a game, it’s seperate from reality, all of that. People would most likely consider you to hold some degree of racist ideals because somebody who is racist would also advocate for that.
And the more you’ve stood against the idea of keeping this out of RP, the worse it’s looked overall, because it doesn’t feel as if the concerns we’ve had have often been taken seriously or have been brushed aside too often.
I admit I’m tired and I’m rambling somewhat, this might not be all too focused, but I think I got the point I wanted to across all the same.

Objectively, no. I roleplay a shadow priest who values the needs of the one and needs of the few far, far more than the needs of the many. That’s not really good boy material.
