back in the day blizzard removed all left over honor and BG marks in WotlK, have we got any information if that’s something they are planning to do again?
There’s a lot of people stacking for wrath, would be neat to get a confirmation in either way.

As far as I can tell they intended to remove the currency, but changed their mind due to feedback and did only reset arena points in the end.
So removing honor and marks now wouldnt make any sense.

Are Honor and Marks getting removed or not with Wotlk Pre-Patch tho?
The blue answer touches a specific question about removal on Wotlk Release which is the end of Wotlk Pre-Patch.
This means that honors and marks acquired during Wotlk pre-patch are here to stay for sure. However it does not confirm that honor and marks acquired during TBC, before Wotlk pre-patch, will stay as well.
Its quite obvious from the source I posted that the honor and battleground marks did not get removed at the time the player asked the question. Since Blizzard confirmed there wont be a reset at a later time towards wotlk release, there was no reset.
Of course Blizzard today can do anything unreasonable, faithful to the original or not. They wont tell us in time either way. Blizzard doesnt even bother to use google to inform themselves, like RDF released in 3.3.5 is plain wrong and they havent bothered to correct their mistake from two months ago when they first announced “no RDF”. I am ready do expect anything, like them introducing reforging, because they think it was a wotlk feature.
