I don’t do very much of housing, the last time I’ve been to my house in a game was like 7 weeks ago. Anyway. I do have a little tiny room only, and I had mostly candles there (or very small lights) as a main source of lighting, to create nice dark and light atmosphere. So there were some dark corners in the house where there was no light and it created this lovely mysterious feeling. When I entered the house today after a long time, everything is so light and washed out, even areas that were darker before are now light and presented as there is a light source somewhere. Did Blizzard change something to a lighting in a housing, and how is it presented in a house? I mean, the lighting in my house now looks sort of like ambient light that’s outside, and there is no dark corner anymore (which I liked very much for the atmosphere it had). Does anyone have any idea what changed? Thank you for any advice on this matter.
A. You found a bug that swaps the lighting that is usually reserved to the Housing tool “Hearthlight Armillary”
B. You have raytracing Shadows enabled and didn’t when you set up the room. Or your drivers updated and that changed the look of the game.
C. (Unlikely, as you would’ve realized yourself) You have a consumable buff going that changes vision effects.
Wau, thanks, absolutely randomly I had Stinky bright potion activated, which never happened to me before. I would have realized, yes, but it is a complete coinsidence, so to check that didn’t even enter my mind Very helpful tip, thanks.
