How active is classic?

I get that many ppl started classic hardcore and I was thinking about it myself BUT I was also wondering how many ppl play classic vanilla? Is it hard for RAID groups? (Both guild ans pug)

I have AQ40/bwl geared Rogue (on firemaw) with few tokens from naxx that I never turned in so I was mainly thinking about raiding Tier2 and Tier3 content. Why Tier2? Cause I never got my maladah :frowning:

Btw is firemaw good server to be atm?

Firemaw is very alive but currently plagued by A LOT of GDKP and toxic players.

I moved on the PVE cluster because I got fed up with it and don’t regret it. Despite the lower pop there are pugs and guild raids going consistently every week.

Sorry but I dont get it  Is it like a big system of conected servers and if yes which servers belong to it? I will give firemaw a go but I will also consider transfer in the future if its too bad.

Exactly, clusters are realm connections. The PVP cluster has PVP realms all interconnected and the PVE one has the other realms.

classic is good but community is bad now… real classic wow community has been deleted, and current ppl that joined classic are toxic retail outcasts, that cringe at the idea of blizzard bringing back clones because they gonna be outcasts again, and somewhat they threat with game quit if old players get back…

Can’t speak for end game but I randomly made a new character yesterday on classic. At around lvl8 got invited into a random group to do quests. We chatted, died, laughed etc. Then after friendly goodbyes I ran into another random player waiting for a boat. Had an emote battle before the ship came.
That’s more activity then I’ve seen on retail since WoD.

Mandokir,hahahaha

The PvP cluster is very busy.
It’s also infested with bots and GDKP’s.
Everything is selling for about 4-5 times its true value.
…however
Farming gold is now incredibly easy, if you like farming, as I do - this is a big +.
I have also embraced the GDKP raids, while I would prefer to raid with a guild, as I did throughout classic until Tbc, gold is so easily farmable now, yoi can set yourself up with a decent amount and go raiding anywhere from ZG to Naxx, and tbh the guys I have been in Naxx with is like a guild anyway, mostly the same players every week.
A few additions rotated in and out ofc.
I am rambling a bit, but it’s heaving with players and is a lot of fun - its different to how 2019 classic was, but different isn’t always bad.
In regards to toxic players, there are always a few in any game, generally speaking I have people are nice if you are nice to them and complete d**ks if you treat them badly, just like the real world.
I have been loving it, decent people, all mats available at AH for professions, tier 0.5 quests or whatever you need.
Raids going from morning to the early hours and groups easy to find for dungeons.
It’s not perfect but I have fallen in love with it again.

The only thing that keeps me away from Firemaw is GDKP and PvP griefing. But I don’t mind PvP as long as it’s possible to find a guild which is “young”, casual and in the progressing part of MC/BWL.

Maybe that will be possible soon with HC players income. I am still leveling (currently on PvE server, but the Horde side is not very active) and I would really like to experience all again and not just enter in the raid with max geared players and been carried all the way to Naxx. I think the progression is the best part of the game, from leveling, collecting pre-raid BiS, and then raiding. All that connects people even more and think it brings back Classic vibes.
