How are Shadow Priests in era?

Hello

Thinking of rolling a SPriest on Hardcore then unaliving him between levels 20-30 to bring him over to Firemaw for wPvP.

I understand that SPriests are not exactly the most indemand for PvE. However I have a conflicting understanding of how good they are in PvP in era.

My understanding of SPriest was that they were top tier 1v1, potentially the strongest class in the game. However, I have read numerous discussions where SPriests apparently fall off quite significantly after AQ.

Shadow Priest mains, advise me on their state in current era WoW

Without being competent, I would say it will be difficult to find a raid spot to get geared as a shadow priest, if you somehow manage, you will be one of the top in 1v1.

Shadow Priests are second only to a really good Rogue.

Lack of good spriests in pvp. Cant think of a dominant one.

Every class should have a player that you want to /afk out when you see his name at the start of the bg.

Spriests with hands are absolute beasts, so no excuses.

Is this player going to be you?

Sp is solid, my alt takes on rogues with t2.5-3 and still wins, and warriors too, oh unless the they r nax geared with flask consumables (pay to win stuff) and a paladin healing them, but yea in many cases in 1v1 its a solid class and u will def have fun, in general they r solid and if u perform average kinda like me, coz I dont think myself pro… they will be totally steering clear from you after few fights. Imagine if you go full pro stuff with trinkets consumables and engi stuff. Regarding raiding, it should not be ur concern issue, r13 set seems the best for sp and u can fill the rest of the slots from here and there with aq20/zg and oh well yea you will def have ur chance to get into mc/bwl/ony etc, just naxx is kinda far fetched but hey! If you are good at why not? Bare in mind tho if u choose to be sp pve you better master mana management and pots to be efficient, aint so easy but totally doable.
