After they buffed frost mages and 'sin rogues, we even look worse than before, who knew being the bottom spec on all dps could be worse
edit: thanks for the 5% buff, but it got cancelled out by all the other bigger buffs given to literally every under-performing dps that were already performing better than BM/SV
Those classes/speccs were pretty much the ones that were worse then BM. Now that those got buffed BM will be one of the absolute worst speccs in the game. I think BM needs a buff and rather sooner than later.
BM was below them pre-buff even, on m+ all keys and in raid, except mythic I think cus few parses but now it’s rock bottom
But yeah BM needs some sort of buff soon, if it stays like this, it’s really a dead spec meant for torgahst maybe or the maw
DW we sin rogues still at the bottom. Blizz already know %dmg buff won’t fix specs. Another 6 months if you wanna see updates. Until then i suggest you the same, give a break if you eager to play with BM.
There has to be a worst spec, it’s just how it is.
Blizzard made it quite clear they won’t be making sweeping balance changes mid-patch, even the classes you mentioned that were buffed still aren’t doing well.

BM are currently doing slightly better in raids while Survival is doing slightly better in Mythic+. They are both rock bottom specs and their performance is very close in both Raids and Mythic+. So yeah they are both in dire need of buffs.
Indeed… I feel BM is always overlooked, or hunter in general really…
The fact our go-to pets, the Spirit beast were nerfed to oblivion to the point even on BM a Ferocity pet preform almost 50% better healing and other wise?

I’m not sure if they would lift the 40% reducation (i think its a 40%) damage from the main pet if you use animal companion, to have a nother, even that would help
(Lets not factor the horrible pet AI, but if your damage comes from pets, those pets need to be relaible to be effective)

When will BM only players stop complaining the moment BM isn’t the super S+ tier it is every other patch.
To be fair it was only really good in BFA with corruptions. The last time I remember BM being even remotely that strong was back in TBC with the one-button macro. It has been middle to bottom of the pack in every other patch / expansion IIRC.
It was pretty good in EP onwards in BFA, was decent/on-par with MM in BRF back in WoD as well, believe it was the go-to in SoO too.
Can’t speak for Legion as I frankly quit, so can’t speak there.
So anyway.
Sure it might have been the go-to spec sometime in WoD (wouldn’t know as I didn’t play that expansion) but certainly not S-tier as you put it. Was garbonzo for many of the other expansions and I know coz I mained BM up until Legion when I switch to SV due to a retarded Hati.

I’m not going to go through every single raid over the past x years but BM has been strong in multiple tiers. None of that has any relevance to right now. BM hasn’t been great for literally a few weeks and people are going crazy it’s embarrassing.
We have three hunter specs and if you choose to only play one spec then you have to accept that there will be times when your spec is bad. Not to mention that 99% of people complaining about BM being weak are not even doing content where it even remotely matters. You could quite comfortably play BM in mythic raid content right now anyway.
I’ll take your word for it Jerby but being strong and being S-tier are 2 different things. My point is that BM was hardly ever as dominant as it was in 8.2 / 8.3.
