How big is the difference between 305 and 310 weapon skill?

Title says it all. I was planning to go for an offmeta pick as a Night Elf Rogue. I know that I’ll face a lot of rejection from guilds and flame, but I’ve already played Swords Human Rogue in the previous iteration of Classic and I’m looking for something new.

I am planning to go for whatever I can get my hands on, be it Daggers or Swords, but as a Nelf I’ll get 305 instead of 310. Is that such a big differnce in DPS that I will be locked on Daggers?

Unless you are in a Hardcore guild or competing for world first, I don’t think the 5 weapon expertise will matter that much in a semi hardcore guild. Knowledge of the class and how well you manage your rotation, when you choose to pop ur cds to maximize dmg matters more in an average guild.

Would you let a Nelf Rogue roll against humans for swords in p1 if they drop before daggers or would you force him/her to go Daggers?

Yes big indeed , but this will change the dps only for if you master your rotation, I play dagger fury warrior , I play with 311 skill

Just go daggers and get Core Leather gloves with +dagger skill on them
