How can EU players give feedback on TWW hero talents?

Hello,

I just saw this blue response on the NA forums: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/feedback-oracle-in-the-war-within/1782831/343

So, it seems they are revisiting this horrendous Oracle priest hero talent tree.

Then maybe there is hope for the rest? So, how can I give feedback about Dark Ranger?

There is an official feedback thread for each revealed hero talent tree on the NA forums, but none on the EU forums.

The devs reiterated several times on each interview that they want as much early feedback as possible, that’s why they’re doing the whole thing. So how can I give targeted feedback as an EU player?

It seems that they are dedicated threads about the initial reveals (the 4 specs done in december), but not the new 4 specs done recently.

I think you are free to make a thread to discuss them in the hunter class discord in the meantime.

Keep in mind, most feedback they get is from social media and influencers (mainly because they have a way bigger reach than the forums, and they can gauge how viewers feel about them).

Looks like an oversight then… thanks.

I’ll create a topic in the hunter section, no problem, I’m just wondering if it will make it to the devs if it is not part of an official targeted feedback thread

Well, someone from the community management will read it if it starts a discussion, but it will mostly help you temper your expectations. What I mean by that:

If most people are split, do not expect much to change. If most people are ok/indifferent/happy with it, then same thing. Oracle was one of the few that was harshly criticized, and this is why I think they will rework it.

Normally, well not really anymore due to the situation, which is happening in Cork (EU Blizzard will soon come to an end).

When these forums had dedicated community teams, they were always reviewing the content, which was posted and anything, which was deemed to be proper feedback (having to go through all the random whining from people who get owned in pvp/people who can’t move out of an AoE to save their lives etc), they would collect all that and then forward it to their US counterparts, to be submitted to the developer team to be looked over.

Your best case is to hopefully create a suggest thread, dedicated to x class or x talent and that it will get the attention of the single employee who is still wondering if they’re on the chopping block to even bother compiling your suggest to be forwarded.

The other solution would be to have a US WoW account and post your suggestions directly onto the US forums.

Thanks everyone for the clarifications.

I created a thread on the Hunter forum: [Feedback thread] Dark Ranger from a PVP player's perspective

In case people aren’t aware you can post on the US forums courtesy of your EU sub but it takes a bit of effort first, and I totally understand those that don’t want to have to jump through hoops in order to take part.

One of the other MVPs wrote this guide, it has step by step instructions with pictures if you visit the link.

Basically you can attach a US starter account to your existing battle net. Then you create a character on any US realm and level it to 10. You do not need to buy any expansion or subscription for the US account because you can level it as a trial (up to 20).

There is nothing wrong with having your own discussion on EU forums and best of luck :four_leaf_clover:

Thank you! I had a starter edition US account and I was always wondering where it came from, so I had it removed (some self-service I think) but if I can bring it back, I would level a character to 10, this takes like 30 minutes.

Thanks again, I’ll look into that

i had to level a char to 10 on a us realm. yep stupid

I would suggest trying the class forum page. They might have something there to give feedback.

there is a chance actual devs do read forums from time to time. They just don’t want to post cos people are craycray

That’s the neat part - you don’t!
