When blizz continued free transfer, firemaw and golemagg stopped being pvp servers. Will something be done about it? Because it’s not even worth calling a PVP server.

People decided that thaey dont want pvp and mass transfered. Prob cause wpvp is pointless waste of time

Exaple:
40% Horde, 60% Alliance
Server online go down for both sides, and when for horde online is so low, that all active players for this faction on this server, just all go to other, all guilds and server is now empty for this faction and people who want to start game, know that this server faction on this server dead and didnt reg character on it and it keep be empty
Alliance online is go down too, but slower cuz it’s have more active players and new characters regs more often
I gotta ask, what exactly do you suggest? the only reason most people rolled on a PVP server was due to the higher populations and not wanting to be stuck on a dead server, as someone has already pointed out wpvp died in classic, all that was left was killing the other faction when they were at 10% health and had 2 mobs on them.

Your are right. The other dumb people in this thread are pve boys. They will never understand what pvp means.
All they want is to be on pvp server to gank the other faction 5+ to 1 and think they are good in pvp lol.
Blizzard needs to balance these pvp servers yes. Now you are either greatly outnumbered which is only doable as rogue or you greatly outnumber. In this case you cant find any prey.

And your suggestion on HOW to fix this is?
Would you take a free faction change to the lower pop faction? I doubt it because why would you go to the losing side?
Would you be fine with queues for the dominating side to enforce balance? I doubt it because you can’t log in to play with the friends that you don’t have.
And keep the generic “Merge the server, that’ll fix everything” response to yourself. Merging realms does not work because people will realize they don’t actually want world pvp, they’ll cry on the forums and they’ll just go to another server.

It gives me more rewards then any other form of pvp. I have great feelings of pleasure whenever i kill some alliance who is going about his business.
All alliance need to be killed, no matter the level. But even i sometimes spare lowbies.
Best thing is to kill some lowbies, wait for friends or main (specially me as rogue) and then also gank them. Can you imagine the rage? This is true art, a masterpiece whenever this happens it is better then drugs.
Idc what anyone thinks of it. It is a pvp server, if you canot have this go play in the pve corner. And if you still come to pvp, be prepared to get killed.
The only solution is that activison takes controll and enforces equal spread as much as possible. Becuse players only think what is best for them, but in a world you need to look at the bigger picture, this can only be done by activison the sheepherder.

Lol, why? i enjoy this. It fits perfectly in the hostile world of warcraft. It fits the rules.
Alot of people think like this, but few say it loud. idc what anyone thinks. As a matter of fact. I get fueld by people complaining to me. I once (years ago) had a very big post made about me and my friends camping enitre towns. And i am proud of this achivement.
I hope for you thet you play on pve server my friend. That is what suits the weaker minded players among us. for each their own, no?

The best pvp players only do arenas for glad.
The middle do arenas and big with friends.
The below average do wpvp because they are not able to interrupt 3 sec cast.
And you that even feel proud of it, I can bet you still backpedal and click spells with your mouse.
The only weak one here is you both in mind and in skill at the game.

I know Blizzard is really (exceptionally) bad at server management, but how exactly should they do that? You say yourself that weak minded people like me should go play on PVE servers, so that takes PVE server players out of your equation. The problem is that then there is just not enough Alliance on PVP servers overall to make remotely ballanced PVP servers. So the question remains: How? Forced faction change? All Alliance have to play against a Horde population twice their size? What do you suggest?
It seems to me, you are not fully looking at the big picture, but only at your own wishes.

Because it’s true otherwise you would have multiple glad titles on your retail account, but as I can see your best rating was 1.6k, mediocre at best.

I haven’t played retail since wotlk when i was a youngster. I did try out some new xpac but never longer then a few weeks. i did played wotlk for years after on molten/warmane. I am not even close to being as good to top arena players, they would kill me for sure. But the question is, would you be able to kill me? I think not.
You enjoy easy wins. If you or other is on the other side of the stick they just transfer off and we get monofaction realms. Griefing is short lived. People are so keen on this “WPvP” that there only one PvP realm left with both factions. Much wow.
They had perfectly balanced realms and opened transfers. They also didn’t care about faction balance because transfers = $$

wrong. I like it when my prey puts up a fight. I like to see some hope in them before i crush it. So i like to have resistance.
i would not be easily enticed to transfer. In my old skool days i was ganked so many times. But it is part of pvp server easy as that. sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I will never ever play on pve
