How come classic takes/asks so much of my computer? I putted it on the lowest graphics and it still like making my pc work hard.
I bougt this pc this year and when I run BFA it like asks less of my pc?
Even when I tried to put it on 1 graphics and it still drains power like (the airco is activaded) way to much.
What must I do to fix this or is this normal … ?
Not much details given but I’d say not normal. Could it be an addon? Try updating addons or try disabling them.
Tech support can help more with this. But a simple suggestion is checking whether or not your GPU is chosen in advanced system settings. If it’s on auto-detect, manually set it to your GPU and see what happens. Because if it defaults back to the CPU with auto-detect, then it’d explain the high usage.
Classic WoW today isn’t the same as Classic WoW ~16 years ago.
We’re playing on a (granted highly modified) Legion Client.
Meaning while the game might’ve used a lot less resources back then the same isn’t true today, it’s gonna use more now than it did back then.
Classic client is modified 6.X (WoD) it should have very similar demands as BFA/SL Client
Check your FPS limiter (Settings-> Advanced -> limit FPS foreground (unchecked = unlimited) and check how many FPS are you getting (Ctrl+R)
High FPS = High CPU usage, lowering graphic will increase CPU usage as you will get more frames. You want GPU at 90% and 60 FPS so you get best graphic and decent framerates.
Also what CPU + GPU it is?
