It’s not even the tuning due to prepatch that is the problem, they have too much toolkit and need a prune.
Stuff like the hunt interacting with the chaos mastery talent is a problem too

DH has way too many utility, and a lot of it passively embedded into their couple of buttons

At 70 i wouldnt worry about DH.
I”m always more worried about the classicz( cuz even when they seem bad, most of the time they are overlords)

wouldnt fix dh you can see that on the beta its absolutley disgusting.
I played some 2s yesterday and WW is still bugged and oneshotting.
Assassin is also on the bottom but he can easily 100 to 0 people in pvp.
MM is weak atm but in my opinion needs a redesign, season 4 was a meme, mm could oneshot every min.

When I first read the patch notes, I thought it was a typo and was supposed to be “+15%” on Aimed Shot 
Then I realized it was decreased by 15% haha

Nah Blizzard isn’t going to nerf classes just because a legendary is a bit strong right now, which ends in a few weeks.
are we sure dh is only strong because of a legendary? 
Keep in mind that this forum likes to jump on bandwagons, and if you fall for the groupthink it’s easy to be convinced of something until you analyze it objectively.
Maybe you aren’t aware that DH already got some pretty big nerfs on beta. Meta talent is removed from pvp talents so now it competes with demonic (that means 10% less vers in demon form), and mortal dance is removed from pvp talents as well so it competes on the talent tree with some big abilities lower on the tree like fodder to flame. Another reason DH seems kind of strong right now is because it has access to some good talents including 2 covenant abilities in the talent tree, which will balance out when other classes get more points. In fact DH won’t get much stronger leveling to 70 because many of the remaining talent points are just filler. Think of it like DH has a little head start right now, but everyone will end up at the finish line at 70.
Also keep in mind that havoc should be a bit above average because the class only has one dps spec. Think of it like DH has a little head start right now, but at 70 everyone will end up at the finish line.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you got used to DH being a free kill for most of SL, so now that they pose a threat like they should it’s kind of surprising. Blizzard doesn’t want to go back to the days when not a single DH was played in the AWC.
Even with covenants and legendaries still active DH is still middle of the pack in DPS. If anything it could use a slight buff in single target. This data is proof that all the talk of crazy high dps of DH is mainly hype, not based on reality. Even for trash dps DH is mid-tier, and that’s what the Soulrend build is supposed to be best at. It’s really afflic and balance druids which are doing crazy dps right now, so hopefully they get brought in line. So everyone can just calm down by looking at the facts to realize that DH is not op right now, it’s a bit strong but nothing crazy and it will get naturally nerfed once covenant and legendary are disabled.

So today I have read that Paladin’s mobility is as good as a DH’s and that DH could do with single target buffs, unsurprisingly from tragic DH players.
Yeah it’s probably time for me to retire from this circus, you people are lost causes

Your comment was going well till this part. DH absolutely doesn’t need a ST damage buff (including beta. I am not sure why you are looking at PvE stats). My DH with lower ilvl can do what my Aff can do on 2 target. Thats way more than enough for PvP for a class with so much uptime.
Atm you guys are a God in terms of tankiness; you don’t need more damage.
What stuff are you smoking Dh should be above average because it got only one dps specc???
It should be below average because eaven an Ape could perform on a DH its such a noob friendly easy specc

i think that fury warrior needs to get tuned down too , its stupid how he can sit in perma cooldowns all the time
…yeah you know they fixed the necro legendary buffing 4 drainsouls instead of 1 by now, also some balance druid fixes no idea tbh linking old dps ranks only fools idiots.
They’re absolutely broken now. Barely take damage, and deal stupid amounts, and heal lots as well. They’re beyond ridiculous.
