It probably will be, if buffs exist, some people will want them, and some guilds may demand them.
As for my consumable use, I have on my warlock only ever used -one- Destruction potion, and that was on the first kill on Brutallus a couple weeks back. At no other point in TBC have I thought it mattered.
And frankly, it almost never does. It is just for people who want to look at their own parses, who no one in the world is even gonna notice except themselves. (unless you like post them on your own Discord to ask a question about something and then conveniently include your own orange ‘Ilvl’ parse).
But that is all derailing: I gain money from raiding. I spend nothing and split in the Gold drops from the bosses.
