How do I get MVP on the forums?

Gawd, now I just imagined that tacky flashy sprakly raindbow font used on “homepages” back in the early 2000’s…

I may have been guilty too.

I think somebody posted a link earlier explaining the role of an MVP

I have no idea, surely there is a way in game you could apply for this position if you wished to

Exactly, but that is in rl too is it not, is a factory full of all supervisors/managers, or maybe there are just plain workers there too?

So what is it you hate about this so called status of MVP? Is it that you wish to obtain the position and can’t? We have already established it is not mandatory to agree with their posts, so it can’t be that. So is it the famous green text that everyone seems to envy? Or is it just having this status that you disagree with?

As a boxer it has never crossed my mind to do this… besides they are all on the same battle net and share the achievements.

I can’t even ask a simple question to boxers without giving me ban threats, and i dubt a automated system can detect if its the same account on the forums considering you can mass flag someone with your alts and they get silenced/forum vacation for it

Don’t tar us all with the same brush though eh?

Was rhetorical.

Interesting way you phrased that.

We all have different opinions, this idea that someone’s opinion gets highlighted not based on merit, I don’t agree with.

It’s an opinion, let upvotes be the deciding factor.

Until i meet atleast 1 nice multiboxer in-game that doesnt send ban threats then i will

I am boxing right now on your realm feel free to whisper Arcadiya

Confused screaming

Also, why warlock?

Soulstones, health stones, great tanky felguards good self healing… nice dps

Talent absolute corruption & the one that make em go faster

gg

Nah Demo for eva :stuck_out_tongue:

This I can agree with, but then it asks another question, who decides the merit? Are you saying current MVP’s don’t merit this position? If so you need to state why to validate the argument. As far as I can see it is Blizzard and not the players who decide, other people have posted that they have been offered this status and refused, it wasn’t other players who proposed them or contacted them.

This would not be a fair system as it would be open to abuse, allowing someone to use alts to come and upvote their own post. Unless there could be a way to allow one vote per account, but then we have players with multiple accounts, hmm.

The people reading the argument?

I couldn’t care any less about the MVP position (I’m guessing you lot think that I do?), my argument is about the value being placed on people’s random opinion, because of that random opinion being highlighted.

I don’t want to see “I like Ghomes” highlighted in my face.

I don’t know who ‘you lot’ are but in any case it seems to come down to you just don’t like the fact that MVP’s posts are highlighted as it is just a random opinion. I disagree, in fact I said earlier MVP’s are probably under more restrictions than the rest of us in that they have to be very respectful, polite and helpful in their posts and maybe cannot always just say what they really would like to. Most of the posts I have seen from MVP’s are just that, usually pointing people in the right direction for help, if this is highlighted then all good, but we will agree to disagree I suppose. Have a great day

You don’t become an MVP, because there is currently no EU-EN CM to appoint MVPs.

If and when there is a CM, that CM will likely be too busy with other job tasks to prioritize efforts on the MVP program.

Both Blizzard and the player community seem confused about the intent and purpose of the MVP program, so it’s just left as is, a testament to a time passed.

All the current MVPs are kind of like Rōnin. They all exist without the CMs that initially appointed them, lost, left to their own devices.

You cant mass flag with alts im trying to find the post now but it comes under harrasment and will only end up with the flagger being banned but , if you are a multi boxer with lots of accounts they can by pass that rule.

Only those with seperate battle net accounts, but I run all mine under one battle net as it holds up to 8… so I couldn’t hide anything.

If i recall the US MvP within the last 12 months went through a overhaul and system redone but then again they cover US and Aus and many sub forums.

Even when connected people can still by pass that rule i know ive been on the end of it and had one banned removed and its something they are reworking .
