How do I get MVP on the forums?

But… they’re 47?

You disagree, with what, their opinion being random and there being a lot of Value in their Highlighted posts?

Trick question, if their posts weren’t highlighted, would you still think that there is value in them?

Yes?..right?

One thing is for certain though. Until we get a new CM, no one is gonna become an MVP.

Well yes that thread showed that people can use their own alts to do this… but still they can see it after the fact… so the outcome would be the same multiboxer or not.

Fml im not blaming multi boxers i used to be one im explaing how flags work and how they can be by passed please dont start on one today thanks.

Yeah, there’s no consistency in the MVP program world-wide. The US re-structured their MVP program as you say, but in an arguably unsuccessful way. It is wholly without purpose or intent, and truly just color for the sake of having color.

No, although Keanu Reeves has always been an MVP.

Jokes aside, I don’t think anyone knows who or how many MVPs there currently are in the European community. Like I said, the program has mostly just been left as is, so any MVP who’s disappeared over the years but hasn’t outright left the program, well they’re technically still part of it. Others are far less active than the original intent called for, and others still poke around at random here and there.
I don’t know. Like I said, they’re rōnin. :upside_down_face:

Who lol?

If me I am on a world quest spree… almost done every single one in all the bfa zones

Yeah its a strange system there but there you go

:hugs:

You mentioned multiboxers first… but it really is no different to using alts - that’s my point.

You misquoted me as you well know, if you read back I disagree was followed with further explanation. And yes I have read threads where I have preferred other opinions more than the highlighted ones, so does this mean I don’t value MVP’s at all, or that I value somebody else higher? No it is just at that time on that subject I had a preference. I say again most MVP posts are usually following the rules of be polite, respectful and helpful, this they do normally with links to help with questions asked. Why should this not be highlighted? If you can show me all the links of where they do not meet this criteria, then yes we can argue again on the MVP role

It is different alts are on one account and the boxers even thougj connected still come up as different .
Anna i didnt even speak to you my post was aimmed at Grov i dont want to get into one of your pointless arguements thanks it was my personal view and explaing what happens to people who multi flag no idea why you have to pick fault with me again when it WASNT EVEN AIMEC AT YOU.
Not everything is about you.

I love it how Iivis threads always gets a lot of responses and these become a gif fests

To OP, I think you need to make a lot of new posts and actually post something helpful. So far I have only seen threads where you give yourself compliments and that’s it. I don’t count that as a helpful to other players

So maybe it is the time for people to contact Blizz and say look at this please, so that those people that want all the hassle and &!*! erm, I mean would love the MVP role could apply

you forgot the air guitar solo

I think that the MVP role should be abolished completely. It has failed its purpose and is completely redundant.

Because if 99.9% of the players that post on here did that exact same thing, their posts wouldn’t be highlighted.

Which is why I made the point earlier about there being a fixed amount of MVPs.

Were you on a Hunter? I see a lot of people as I am always happy for people to join up with me for world quests

@Canabal and all: I am not sure of the exact (current) number, but I believe that even with several greens having retired (in other words, left the games), there are still far more than 20 of us remaining across the EU. But not everyone frequents the English general forum and some are far more active than others.

As for the “cap”, Blizzard decided (as far as I know really, really long ago) to keep the number of active MVPs fairly low, but I do not think they actually have / had a specific number.

@All: Very much this. Also worth noting that MVPs are not a hive mind, there are times when we disagree among eachother.

@Daestra: Luckily not all of time or even most of the time.

@Aylish: This is indeed a fairly common misconception. :frowning:

@Emje: Blizzard makes the decisions, who they make the offers and as can be seen above, not everyone accepts. Additionally, there are helpful individuals outside the “green dragonflight”.

I am not entirely sure how my green colleagues of the gnomish persuasion feel about that…

So because the other 99.9% of the players who have done the exact same thing are not highlighted, do you think that nobody reads their posts? I have seen helpful player posts and then I have seen a ‘green’ post also offering help. Does it matter who posted as long as the help was obtained. I’m not sure I am following your argument to be fair, you are saying that they should not be highlighted, yet earlier you said you did agree with MVP status?

Not all. Customer Service MVPs are still appointed/watched over/removed by the EU CS department.
