you got gray parses bro
I’ve been very vocal for my dislike to the whole “pre-nerf but its patch 3.3.5” thing
Bringing up a warlock in an example is a poor example… even a 3.5k warlock does more dmg than your average 4.9k Ret
I am playing two most overpowered specs yes. Except no guild needs both at the same time even if they actually while my lack of experience becomes a solid argument against setting me in a role of main tank/Healer. That and of course the fact the guilds that try to recruit have those spots covered. Judging from recruitment adverts swapping one to Ret (probably Holy) would make me an option for an offtank as mentioned by someone else in this very topic.
Pugs don’t want inexperienced players, Guilds ain’t looking for a full-time tanks/healers.
And thus two overpowered specs combined do me no good in raiding.
Yeah, I just checked your server on warcraft logs. Your class/spec isnt the issue, your server is just completely dead. On every half decent one people will verbally suck you off in chat just for you to join their raid as holy or prot.
Do yourself a favour and transfer.
Yeah, Kiryaa would have a field day over on Gehennas.
Too bad its locked.
Sure lemme just find those 100€ I definitely don’t need and transfer to Golemagg with all my alts /s
And it was locked when I started. So I picked kinda blind and guess I screwed up. Not that I find Mega Realms appealing… Probably also wouldn’t make enough gold off mining to cover my base expenses including early Dual Spec
Yeah, it’s ridiculous to expect to just jump into having a guild effectively carry and boost you to the top. There are guilds working their way through the game and who need people to join them and make it work, guilds with a mix of skill levels and a mix of personalities but trying to make it work, recruiting every day.
These are the guilds people should be trying to join, not getting upset because they’re facing some level of rejection with guilds that are at a vastly different stage of the game to them.
Nobody is too good to join these building/progressing guilds, I have no reservations about playing in them and have made some of my best friends doing so, when I returned from a break in TBC I did just that, because nobody was taking me into their guild to boost me in my Karazhan gear and I didn’t expect them to.
You would have. Northrend nodes are botted to high heaven, but everything below Cobalt is still worth a fair price (bar thorium, which is bugged)
It is actually very easy to join Alg groups without kill, all you have to say is you have xp on your main or something. I am not in a guild, and have not been this entire tier, i have two chars (Hpala and FDK both 4950 GS and have cleared all HM on 25 + Alg on both characters NOT in GDKP runs. Just gear yourself up and get decent logs before you start expecting people to take you somewhere without xp, you have to bring something to the table other than “i made grp”. You will need to RL Alg and if you haven’t done it then how would you be qualified? I would leave your group instantly too.
It says alot about you when ppl cant find words to explain simple logic, some content are hard in life, some are easy, its not your right to conquer every challenge, thats up to you to put that effort. And btw, 15% have killed Algalon now.
Which is good if you do have it. If you don’t well it will show up and yeah Drama is not worth it.
Learned it hard way as a tank on OS when I said nothing about lacking an experience with tanking drakes which caused massive amount of drama as we wiped few times.
There are so many many guides out there for basically everything. For every Dungeon/raid/HM/NM you can think of.
I recommend watching subtleFW´s guides/videos.
Watching a video is plenty sufficient for any normal mode and most of the hms in Ulduar, you will be able to do them based on having watched a guide/video alone.
At this point i´d just lie to get a spot in a normal mode raid and go from there. Some lies are worthwhile.
No it does not, specially on a lower pop server.
Right now Firemaw might even die as many top guilds will be moving to horde and gehennas so we might soon be in the same situationa s you.
But me as a druid i keep 3 specs as up to date as a possibly can. It is not easy but it is a good thing to do.
You dont need BIS items for your specs, you can get good but not bis items to start with. Greatness decks are very good and if you can afford them get them, if you cant, then save money for it.
Do some naxx raids, get decent ret gear from that. My Boomkin gear is almost 100% Naxx or pre-bis stuff as it is my least fav spec of the 3 i play but at the same time the one i play the most because it is needed the most. It works, i will never top the meters but i do what i can with what i have.
At the start of Wrath i said “No i am never gona play boomie” so i did not collect the gear, but after a while i realised i needed it to be more flexible so i gathered a set in Naxx anyway. Took a bit but it worked. And now in Ulduar i am focusing more on my resto and feral tank gear. When those are decent i will start collecting boomie gear again.
Most guilds take the player/class not the gear. Unless you are newly dinged and dont know anyone in the guild that is.
It is about flexibility. Holy/Prot is the worst combination you can have. Prot/Ret or Holy/Ret is the way you want to go.
You dont need all your alts to play your paladin.
But they benefit from existence of my Paladin and vice versa. Since she’s the main moneymaker and has Mining my Druid can easily level Tailoring and Engineering while my DK gets materials to utilize Jewelcrafting. All benefit from easy access to enchantments as well. At the same time All the alts provide their professions to benefit of Paladin be it by gems, Consumables and materials to Disenchant. I like to have a degree of self sufficiency.
Naxx raids are nowadays mostly consisting of Saph and KT which greatly limits the gearing options from them. Basically all I can hope to get is a Cloak, Weapon and I believe a ring? Which means to reach preferred GS of 4,3k+ (if I recall correctly it’s a common requirement for PuGs, one that my Holy Side is yet to reach because I had bad luck when it comes to certain pieces) I’d need to invest heavily into Emblems. Again lengthy endeavor.
Back in original wrath most pug groups only did a couple of heroics and nobody really saw Algalon.
Join a guild and stop complaining.
Here you say lie
??? lol contradicting yourself.
Mining on a raiding character? What? Okey if it was an alt but your main? Get some real profession and get mining on an Alt instead.
If you wna to be stuck on a dead realm because of professions thats a choice you make.
