You’ll soon be joining myself and half of the board on the chimp’s ignore list. I don’t know why he comes here when half of the posts are ‘hidden’ for him, but then again… I don’t know why he does anything.
Believe me, many of us have had the same conversation with him. He’s a narcissistic child and there’sno way to teach him.
You’re held back by your own desires and requirements here and the only way that the game could be changed to suit you is if raiding was changed to the flexible version that retail has, where raid difficulty is dependant on your raid size. Then it wouldn’t matter if you can only raid every other week.
You’d also be fine on Gehennas, but you can’t transfer there. Do you have any characters on Firemaw? You could probably cheat the system and use the free Firemaw->Gehennas transfer for a random alt, and then make a fresh character there since you now have a character.
But other than that, there’s no way where in you get everything that you want. That’s just life.
To be fair I have level 1 character on Gehennas. Planned to use it to spy out how the realm work but never used it.
Now that would of course mean I’d need to start anew. Preferably without Heirlooms as faster leveling will rack up the costs on skill ups and so far I always had to resort to getting at least 100-200g from my main to ensure that the costs are satisfied. Nevermin. The point is that reaching where I am now would take a lot of time. Probably (knowing myself) about 3 months at most for just leveling. And by that time I probably won’t hold enough in my bank to get too far through GDKP so we’ll need to add additional time spent on gearing up. Time spent solo Raiding Karazhan and places in Ild realms for Enchants… Large amount of time I already spent once which leads to…
Sunken Cost Fallacy. Something I’m not above. I’ve been on Nethergarde since Launch of Wrath (to be precise started on the last day of prepatch). Time I spent getting the Ravasaur from Un’Goro. Time spent solo farming Stratholme in order to get Exalted Rep with Argent Dawn. It’s not enough to justify paying Blizzard of all companies extra cash for transfer but enough that I don’t just want to throw it away. And honestly if I reach that point I’ll probably just give up on Classic.
The difference is: you in whatever your monetary situation is consider that cost to be justified. For me personally 25€ is relatively big deal for what is offered and thus unjustified.
Why should I? Because I refuse to pay a company ti fix an issue that’s in a large parte result of them mismanaging the realms as well as not provide players with enough data that would allow a fresh player to make a decision?
Reminder that Nethergarde was one of the few realms that at the time were open. The other options for Horde included (from what I recall) Mirage Raceway (not exactly much better situation), Ashbringer (dead) and Fresh Realms (Dead outside of Thekal)… Great options weren’t they? It totally makes me trust the company and send money their way again.
They cant fix your problem without creating others.
What they need to do is introduce Warmode with no bonuses and then just make all servers in to one mega server. But that wont happen, and we will prob not see flex-raids either.
Would be nice if they tried. But instead we’re getting solutions to problems that didn’t exist. Like HC+ and now anounced/proposed sharing lockouts between regular and HM raids. Which will continue to screw up people on smaller realms that try to catch up.
Not worst to waste my time against someone who prefer judging people because no argue
You don’t know anything about me in the game.
But yes, simpliest mind from Classic Player is “You want loot => You’re a bad guy, nobody wants you blablablabla” it’s easier this way.
You constantly obsess over loot and ilvl, no wonder you get called out on it. You can gear half your char in crafted and conquest badge items, it’s easy to gear up but you’re obsessed with only BIS items that everyone wants, as you’ve mentioned before.
At this point arguing with him is a total waste of time and effort. Even if you provide a compelling argument he will just reply in bad English that you’re a typical classic player for disagreeing with him /shrug. I’m not even sure he understands half of what we say to him.
Just the mere fact that he’s seemingly only active on the wrath forums and in WoTLK makes him a classic player aswell, but that goes over his head.
Best handle him like a forum troll and just chuckle when you see his next reply and ignore him.
Couldnt get into SSC/TK because I had no logs from SSC/TK … (already did ssc/tk with that char, had even several items, but there were simply no logs)
Wanted to join raid, went to their discord, scrolled up in the chat, not month ago but literally like 10 posts up, copied some random persons logs, slapped picture of my char next to it and said “those are logs from my main” …
Found myself on raid roster like 5 minutes later …
Not to mention noone checked my logs when I signed for a BFA raid with world first achievement on boss that wasnt even released yet xD
Most people that care about logs would have you log on to that char to confirm that it is you. If they dont you know they dont give a S about logs and they will prob have a raid filled with ppl like you and it will be a bad raid (not always but usualy).
If you ask for logs/experience you need to stick with it to get a good raid and also be prepared to explain tactics.
Well majority of players being absolute donkeys is the issue I am often trying to highlight … majority of people doesnt understand what they are looking at, 5k gs if you dont have hit/expertise/def cap is cool because its big number … getting completely ignored because you dont have logs even though you are rocking BiS gear … having low rio because you do only 2 dungeons per week but have them perfectly cleared out is worse than some muppet with untimed keys but who keeps spamming every dungeon every week …
You can either try fight it and crack your skull on the wall … or you can just play their game with them …
Using world first kill achiev on boss that wasnt even released yet was my pinnacle achievement on BFA … I just wanted to see how far the stupidity goes and lo and behold it do be going quite far …
