I see the forum still hasnt updated my character info 
Have you tried to log out and back in?
well… no as i had to log in to post this in the first place - checked my info after login and it was still outdated.
However i followed your advice and it did in fact work, so thank you

If you Alt-F4 or quit out of the game it doesn’t save so it’s best to logout to update your profile picture and level.
