Those were 3 recolored dragons that looked the same model wise. You have to be kidding or to be blind if you can’t see the dragon represented Thrall’s beam that took down Deathwing in the cinematic.

While I did buy all the mounts with gold I collected from boe farms I still agree that store mounts shouldn’t exist. We are paying 13 a month (156 eu a year!). That is more than enough money for the game to not have any forms of microtransactions. But greed and videogames go hand to hand these days.

I know perfectly well how it works and it’s not helping them in the long run. Take a look at RuneScape. The original one is uphold but a few of fat whales with big fat cash, but the rest of the players are busy playing the older version. One that has no cash shop or anything cosmetic.

The achievement one is also another recolor of Alexstrasza’s dragon model.

We got a recolour instead.

Money I guess. Blizz stated multiple times that the most revenue comes from the store and not from the subs.
Also you get the new mounts for free if you have a 6 months sub anyway. (and if you don’t have 6 months sub, you can still buy the mount with ingame gold). It’s a lot cheaper than the brutosaur (which was an ingame mount and not a store one) for example.

Mounts aren’t essential to helping you play the game. I’ve got plenty and never visited the blizz-store once for one.
(Got one free with an expansion, some kind of space worm thingy but yeah… Anyway)
I think you want to go to other game forums and complain there about how you ‘need’ to get armour/weapons upgrades to be meta for their game progress.
