That was my point tho with S2 example. If someone got high rating during inflation, it doesn’t mean anything. I tried to play with people who were like 1,8k cr this season and 2,4k+ S2 but <2k S1. And it clearly showed, most of them simply were actual 1,8k players. Some guy even told me that I am not supposed to expect him to press his CDs properly and if I wanted that, I should get a boost… like… ??? I got tons of LFG stories, maybe I should write a book.
I agree XP is not the best system but that’s the only “skill indicator” to play with someone.
Just no. I mean I don’t even need to back it up, everyone should know this.
Check some LFG people or even some on the forum. They are like S1 1,8k → S2 2,4k+ → S3 1,8k. And there are many of them… that’s not a coincidence.
If you are not trying to say that people were not able to get higher than ~1,9k S1 because of those people, then I don’t understand how that has anything to do with my S2 statement.
You typed quite a lot of for someone who pretends to ignore people. Stop boasting. You were hardstuck on many classes (even s tier classes lol) and crying for months, just because you got a boost on hpriest (with res legendary lmao…) in the end of the season, it doesn’t mean you got the xp to judge anyone.
You’re duelist experienced max making an argument about a rating you’ve never been at and disagreeing with someone who’s done it multiple times, lol. I know, you don’t, case closed. This is simply you speaking out of feelings and emotions rather than logic, facts and experience.
There are lots of reasons people dont push or get rating late. I feel people make too much out of rating.
I did beat a 1.8 dh with a 250ilvl outlaw in a 2v1 the other day. That was fun.
Anyway lfg also has a wide range of people and comp xp. I had covid the other week - lost like first 4 games with 3 different healers and then went 9-0 with a disc who’d recently come back. People just need to chill a bit
Just speaking from my experience, last season felt not that difficult to get to Gladiator and 2.5k cr, but this season it feels really, really, really difficult to come close to 2.3k and above for us. I’m playing with the same team as last season. I don’t really know why, it feels like people play much better than last season (at least to us) starting at ratings like 2.1k.
Although I think for those with really high experience, it would be as “easy” as any other season for them to get just the Glad so I understand what you meant
You want to rating bash me because I chose to stop at 2,1k every season?
I played at “low” ratings with these S2 2,4k+ people. Most of them are not even close to 2,1k xp and their history and current ratings prove that.
Are you really so full of yourself and think your opinion matters more than actual facts?
Ye… ok… of course. Let’s ignore the data and claim it to be “feelings”.
Also, you might wanna chill out a bit, I was live on Reece’ stream but I was cool enough to keep that out of the discussion. You are the least guy who should call someone emotional
this is interesting, i got my 2.1 3 month ago (just checked reflex) and i got it faster and easier than last season, i even played a worse comp, i didnt play since that bcz irl stuff but i wonder what happened in the past few months that made this season hard, i didnt really follow patch notes either
I’m not rating bashing you, I’m simply saying you can NOT downplay the difficulty of something you haven’t even achieved yourself. I found it just as easy to get Glad this season as last season, simple.
You missed the point then. How can I NOT talk about them, when I am the one playing with them and not YOU?
Fine and that’s your opinion.
No, facts.
Of the top of my head I can think of Brodanyo as an example. I am not bashing him or anything but you can clearly see he played enough games and his stats literally prove my statement. I met tons of people and their stats looked pretty much the same.
Go figure. As I said, you mixed up the stuff a bit. In this case my opinion is more valid because I am the one with the experience playing with these people, not you. And I don’t mean that in a negative way.
Edit: Even Spektral kinda confirms my statement. He is obviously better than most of those S2 2,4k+ people but it’s not a coincidence his highest achievement this expansion is in S2. (not bashing friend)
If you were and are playing Sub Fire Holy the main difference between last season and the current one is that now the comp actually has an actual viable counter.
By your own admission you ‘choose to stop at 2.1’ so how can you make any accurate conclusions about other players?
Games played does not indicate much. How do you know they’re not playing with friends, with random people, for fun? Why does it have to be ‘you have played x amount of games so you should be at y rating?’ It’s an incredibly narrow viewpoint.
Because most of those S2 2,4k+ people are playing below 2,1k this season and that’s exactly where I am playing? I literally played with these people a lot, I saw their “xp”
As I said, he is just one example and of course everyone, always has an excuse. What a coincidence someone is <2k S1 and S3 but in S2 he was playing for real, hm? Like… really? That’s your logical conclusion?
Seems like you’re just salty that people achieve more than you do at this point.
What’s with this apparent rule that just because people got to a certain rating last season then they MUST do it again this season otherwise their achievements are diminished?
