The words directly behind the ones I quoted are not angry. They are a different word, they are a swear word.

It does not say angry. Though it’s used as a way to swearing way of saying you’re angry.

  1. You are a model poster, always reasonable, never making it personal, always on topic and sensible. I know we can all slip up, but I find this surprising.

  2. Whoever designed this process[*] needs to have their noses rubbed in it so that the post and an explanation for the ruling is included with the notification.

[*] Unless it was Franz Kafka, back from the Shadowlands, in which case I’d rather he devote his talent to producing another story, or a Black Mirror episode …

But if I put it into google translate, it literally translates to a word that means “very angry” and if I put that word into google translate from swedish to english, I get that very same result.

Use the word with P at start and look up the english version how many times do you need to be told or are you just trolling now Elahri ?

You have been told by me and Puny 3 times to look up the ENGLISH version on the word starting with P it is a swear word in US and UK english and thats the reason you are banned .

I got one yesterday as well. I reviewed it and i think it was a comment where i wrote “what the” followed by an f with many many stars. So most baffling thing, for me at least is that I SELFCENSORED MYSELF and yet my comment was STILL removed. Gotta love people’s completely obtuse view on swearing (even self-censored) and yet hypocritical disregard to violence @.@

Putting in symbols is circumventing the filter. It’s still swearing. Try to find another way to express yourself.

I don’t make the rules, but I don’t find it hard not to swear on the forums. On other mediums I can happily swear :laughing:

Is it really considered a swear word? This one is certainly not polite, but swear words? It’s quite a common saying, isn’t it? Besides, I’d even argue that it depends on how one uses it.

It seems that in the UK they seem a bit more sensitive to this example than in the US.

Ah well, it was removed so I guess it crossed the line. But eh…this forum is not thát formal is it.

Looking up the word used it counts as medium for UK and mild for US curse/swear word and like you say depends how used but its a forum for 12+ so its there CoC we have to follow .

I get what you mean, and again it did prob cross a line, but it’s not about a singular word. It’s about the complete saying of two combined words. That has a completely different meaning.

Well, apparently in the UK they do find this case more offensive than in the US. That’s what Google tells me at least :slight_smile:

It’s not an expression in America. Which is why it frequently falls foul of language filters on American sites.

And no that does not mean that the UK is more sensitive. It’s you not understanding that Blizz have set rules. Blizzard is not British.
