Just toss some words into the translator and see if they sound good in japanese.
“Kasai” = Fire. Kori is just a name

On my most serious mains i like a serious name. But the more alts i get the sillier name they get. Here are a few examples.
Tallandbald for a hairy dwarf
Tulkiran for a kultiran
Voidermort for a void elf
Trolldalari for a zandalar troll
Sneakyfart on a rogue
Woofingbark on a worgen hunter with a pet named Barkingheck
Sniffetysnuff on a vulpera
It become - what is your cool characters names thread so there are mine.

Souloutz - demon hunter.
Holyforged - paladin.
Elunesdottir (daughter of elune in icelandic) - druid.
Manarcane - mage.

iilimunauty / iilimunutty
Not exactly what u asked for but those just popped into my head
Most of my chars have dumb/edgy/provocative/funny names.
Many of them are food related.
= can’t help you with suggestions.
I nearly always use proper fantasy names. Only very rarely I have chosen some edgy name or a joke name.
Idk I take something and then add a name with the same letter.
Hero!n Herold
Prnstarpedro
TonyTugboat
Gangstergary
All of these names have gotten banned cause they aren’t rp friendly
My suggestion is try to avoid naming your characters similarly, especially using special letters, 'cause I personally find it annoying to have all your characters named the same, but that said - it’s up to the person.
What I usually suggest is to try and name your characters with a proper fantasy name and bonus points if you keep up with the style of the race.
Good example:
Likewise, nicknames are fine too, but nothing too edgy or immature.
Good example:
Pamilii
Miliidin
You might have tried those for a paladin but they might help if not!
Back in the day I was called Littlebugga on priest, then I made Bugga(warrior) Buggar(rogue) Buggah(hunter) Dirtybugga (druid) Bugguh (dk) Lilbugga (mage). But then I changed some of my names by contacting blizzard and the names weren’t in use. So now I have, Orange, Banana, Melon, Strawberry, Cow. There some of the better ones. I really wanted Panda but couldn’t get it. More recently some of my alliance names are part of my last name irl, Gled, Gleds, Gledeth, Gleddy, Gledoc. Haha I dunno, sometimes I just make random names up on new characters too and when they all get declined I end up with Poostick. Somehow…
Oh, guys you helped a lot, thank you very much! I thought people wont be interested in this topic. Good day for everyone, and again thanks for the lot of help I have many ideas now!
I just take the name of my first pet and the street I grew up on…
Wait, that might be for something else.
Better way is to fill a gnome with alphabetispaghetti then hang it up like a piñata, and hit on it until 6-10 letters fall to the ground!
I used to do very different and very immersive names for my characters in MMOs. Now I just add vowels, x, something like ‘‘é’’ or whatever to my usual name and call it a day.
Normally the first thing I see around me
just use wow name generator page like wow rpers use …
You can blend words, like my name: Serluma = Serenity+Luminosity
Or you can use google translation: my alt’s name is coryza (frost mage)= cold, flu in Latin
You can also use them together, blending words from other languages as long as it sounds fine.
I hate it when guildies use the same name with different accents - it’s a huge pain if I need to mail them something and can’t remember which type of i is used in their main’s name…
So that my name is recognizable to my guildies and friends, my alts are mostly Cera-somethings. I have a bunch of alts who were named before I created my first Ceran, they are mostly named after my cats (like Haggarouse for my cat Haggis and Brucelette for my cat Bruce. Poor Mr Tiggs doesn’t have a character named after him, yet…)
Give your characters a background story; this is an RPG after all - think about who they are, what they do… and look up names that fit with that in another language or even only on a webpage that explains the meaning of normal names.
Some of them are themed… like, Alewín, Lilwin, Aruwin, Eruwan… but then there’s Xenli, Bríghtmoon and Fighty and I have no idea any more.
Depends on my mood.
Either:
1 - Pick a fantasty sounding name like Haldaenor, Kazaer, Tymorah, Kazaer, Amathirya.
2 - Something regular like December, Anonymous, Agonist, Icognito, Girl.
3 - Merging of two things like Nightstorm, Moonbeam, Blackbird, Starwing, Sunspark, Silverfox.
4 - Random like Ef, Plock, Pawdawan, Dohnut, Qo.
5 - Named after “famous” people sometimes with a slight alteration, Pixie, Bree, Kyli, Asha, Sinead, Tanita.
