How do you see herbs/mining when you level?

Hi Im new to wow.

I like to gather while I level, but I dont know how to find herb/nodes?

First of I cant track them both at the same time, so how to get around that?

2nd, is there some kind of notification to get when Im close to a herb? Right now I only see a tiny tiny yellow dot on the minimap.

I dont look on my minimap when I play.

Is there at least a way to make the dot bigger or anything else that will help to find em?

Gathermate2 addon will help a lot, make sure to also get the gathermate data too, you import it and it will show where herbs and the like spawn.
It would be best to look for a gathermate guide on youtube.

Hi there, you can create the following macro to track both herbs and mines simultaneously by switching between them:

/castsequence Find Herbs, Find Minerals

Or just drag and drop both icons to your action bar from your spellbook.

You should really concentrate on one until you max it out then switch.

Get Skinning + Herb or Mining instead, so you focus on one profession on the map only.

Download gathermate to know where spots are.
