Technically, yes.
Practically, no you canāt āreally play itā.
Weāll have to agree to disagree on that.

ill normally boot the ps5 up go to the store and do exactly that
sometimes the Ā£20 -Ā£40 price tag can result in months of game play
so its worth it
im surprised you would say that, they have a ābeastmasterā class coming out basically a BM hunter
True, balance in all things. Perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Jones game which is pretty good!
Wanted try that but it was pretty pricy with 70 euro for the basic game, but it has strong theme

I sort of envy that.
I really canāt do that. Thereās a plethora of types of games that I donāt enjoy.
I can get hung up on something mundane like the aesthetic simply not appealing to me.
Iām very picky.
I start playing old content. Iām not that into other games any more for some reason.

The game has forced PvP with inventory stuff dropping on death. That alone is a gamebreaker for me. But then thereās the gimmick where other people can ruin your plans in that game; if you are building a city that you want, a bigger group can come in and just change that. Thatās not okay in any way, shape or form, as far as Iām concerned.
So I stopped being interested in that game years ago when I found out these things - havenāt checked it out since. Who knows, maybe they changed those godawful mechanics?
All of that aside though: The visual style really doesnāt appeal to me either.
Get what you know you want done first then everything in moderation

Same. It bums me out. Iāve tried GW2 like three times already for example, and I just canāt stand the way it looks. But on paper it sounds like a better game for me, all things considered. Itās pesky lol.

I thought the same, it just looked weird. Hated the abilities tied on weapon swaps with cooldown aswell so couldnt just do what wishes as smoothly as gameplay feel in wow on comparison.
When I get burned out, I turn the game off and watch a movie, play some music, take a few days to enjoy offline hobbies.
A break is never wrong
But I want to play more but just donāt have that umpf to keep going.
Play an alt. Might work. Otherwise playing something else (or nothing even) for a week can work as well.
I have recently been feeling a bit meh about WoW
By playing other games .i had burnout in ffxiv so i started playing diablo 4 and wow
I play the game.
I have a job already, when I log into wow I do content I find enjoyable and relaxing.
i plan to play Ashes of creation when it fully releases
That game is releasing in 2077
Wanted try that but it was pretty pricy with 70 euro for the basic game, but it has strong theme
Yeah itās a pretty steep price, I usually wait for a sale too, but I love Indy and just couldnāt resist and it feels like a complete game not some liveservice .
So I ask you, what is your method for stopping or avoiding burn out?
Roleplaying, its what I always do when I tire of the PvE/PvP.
Play a bit less, chilling in the game doing something a bit different on an alt, e.g. gearing lowest iLvl alt a bit, going after a transmog or title on an alt, doing a challenge like mage tower, doing something in a different pillar of the game, e.g. PVP vs PVE, etc.
I find that if I take a little break I sometimes canāt be bothered to log in, and it turns into a long break, so I prefer a distraction or change.
I have recently been feeling a bit meh about WoW,
I raid log in SoD & Cata.
But retail is too dull, I donāt want to sit and try to apply to different +10 runs for 15-40 min and still not get invited, So i just donāg play.
I recently tried BDO again and am enjoying it, Lots of events giving free stuff atm.
I sm also daily playing OW2, marvel rivals also blade & soul
How do you stop Burnout?
When I realized that I would need to farm 195 000 Resonance Crystals for the Ensemble Vendor to buy everything, I noped out of it. I donāt know who does the maths on these but no way Iām going to farm that amount!
Same goes for Dragonflightās Dragon Isles Supplies: I still donāt have half the rewards because I didnāt get half the supplies through normal and natural gameplay, and Iām not willing to grind it.
I wonder if this was Blizzardās intention though: give them half the rewards easily and make them bleed for the rest.
TL;DR: I only do what I enjoy in-game and I leave the rest. If I do not enjoy the game anymore, I unsub until something interesting comes up.
