Here I was in AV attacking with others in frostwolf base, the usual. Starting to kill the first few battlemasters when someone whispers me “what are you doing?” and a few seconds later I’m in loading screen with deserter debuff on me.
I didn’t say anything in the chat to aggravate people or anything else either.
Not sure if the whisperer guy had anything to do with it but just seems odd.
Now I’m wondering how can this happen? Just how easy is it to kick someone out from BG?
I problem is way bigger than it seems at first. With the report option you do not receive the debuff that forces you to get HK, it immedietly makes you a deserter. With this strategy you can basically crushes someone High Warlord dreams. Spread his name, get some braindead idiots spam bgs and kick him from each and every one of them.
Not true. You receive a debuff first, after some time without moving or pvp action, you get a second debuff and later on, if you keep being afk, you are out with deserter.
That is the case if you are afking and the systems detects you. If you are reported by several players that is an instant deserter. There is a huge reddit post about this problem in the classic subreddit.
Retarded system will just automatically kick when X reports occur. Would obviously be nice when used properly, which in Classic community I find hardly possible. You can just gather some in the Bg and troll someone with no bad consequences on such behavior.
Everybody makes mistakes. The thing is that so far, all of Blizzard’s ‘mistakes’ have only gone in one direction: like they’re trying to ruin Classic, embarassed about the success it had considering their initial mockery of people asking for it.
People join the same AV. When they have a number. Say “AV 332”. They tell all their friends to just sign to that one AV and start instakicking people inside to get their friends a spot. They maybe need like 5 persons reporting you and your gone, no warning
I seriously doubt people run AV on release date and intentionally go afk (unless you fall for the emotememe to type /afk ready)
