How hard it was to get Shadowmourne in actual WOTLK?

Hey guys. I just came back to the game because I want to prepare a character for the WOTLK expansion (ofc, if it ever comes live).

Back in the days I’ve always dreamed of making Shadowmourne, but before I knew it, Cataclysm went out. Now I’m kinda looking forward to make it, but I don’t know how long it’ll take and can I do it at all (I was a schoolboy back then, now I have the complete package of grown-up stuff going on).

So the question is, how hard was it? And how long will it take approximately?

Couple of weeks doing Icecrown Citadel 25-man. Depending on how many in your raid/guild team getting it.

It was not hard, nor was the ulduar healer mace. It was more so about the time it took and the person who was chosen to get it.

Depending on how many fights you can do on 25hc mode, I’d say you can look at around 6-8 weeks per Shadowmourne iirc.

Still, a normal ICC guild generally has at least 5 between fury warriors, ret paladins, and unholy DKs (not to mention the possibility of a Blood DK tank), so it’s unlikely you’ll be able to give it to all of them before WotLK Classic “ends” (I mean, I know it doesn’t really technically “end”, but you get the idea).
