Hi im plying Wotlk since original release and i moved to private server as blizzard moved to cata.
Since WOTLK release there wasn’t a year i haven’t played WOTLK. every single year from Original release im still playing Wotlk and im still in love with it (that’s why some ppl like me know this game as Best Expansion ever being made)
I’ve tried TBC and vanilla classic and it was truly fun, it felt familiar to me more than shadowlands does (i enjoyed first couple months of shadowlands for real but it became boring too fast, have no idea why)
So the thing im trying to tell is how important Dungeon Finder can be,
1- for lots of classic WOTLK ppl like me, questing isn’t really fun anymore unless it combines with open world PVP or at least it should be High populated. I’ve done every single quest more than 200 times … i want more creativity with online ppl ! so how can i have that ?
Dungeon Finder ! yes exactly ! it will bring Joy to the Leveling again and There wont be many Mages who are boosting ! Fun, Fast, Instant leveling ! who needs booster anymore
? (im a hardcore mage booster from vanilla classic and take this serious from me, dungeon finder will decrease demands for boosting for sure)
are u in a dead server ? Who cares! u can still have fun while leveling with other ppl and having to spend tons of time ! ( well its more about cross realm i was thinking but we can skip this one )
It was First important thing i insist on, LFG makes leveling for lots of PPL a Lot more Fun
(QUESTION SOME MIGHT ASK) : IF you Like LFG TOOL SO MUCH GO PLAY RETAIL (ANSWER) : IF YOU DONT LIKE WOTLK GO PLAY SOM OR TBC Classic, THIS CHANGE WAS ALREADY EXISTED ON WOTLK
2 : Time is Money my friend
after playing all classic games and some of retails (Shadowlands, BFA & Legion), i see WOTLK as a Line between Retail and Classic. its not necessarily Classic or Retail, its between them! Keep it that way ! Dungeon Finder will Save tons of Time, i love it and Lots of ppl like me Love this too ! (i believe more ppl like this rather than who don’t). please don’t make weird changes, WOTLK doesn’t need implementation believe me.
This is a bad argument. It’s like a family member who says ‘‘Don’t play x song in the house ever again because i decided to listened to that song 1000 times the past month’’.
True! But this is classic. classic should remain classic. You already have retail.
The Classic most of you speak of is Vanilla Classic. Stop trying to turn every other version of WoW into Vanilla. What’s next, “remove flying mounts because they diminish social interaction”?
Then, why there was around 11m players prior 3.3.0 if Dungeon Finder is/was so important in Wrath.
LFD was useful post 3.3.0 at best because after this patch it’s 1 year without new content.
I still find it funny that suddenly everyone care about leveling. As someone who care about it, so many times i’ve seen “who care about leveling” - “all i care about is Wrath content”…
you need to make Auction House bold (mark it and use ctrl + b) and or move it up… most people will not read all your post and misunderstand. btw great post
Never really understood the reasoning behind not having the dungeon finder, for those who do not want it, cant they just use the lfg chat, bulletin addon etc still?
I do believe the dungeon finder would make lvling alts much more enjoyable, aswell as for mains when playing at a time when there is not many people online.
But at the same time i guess people would not use the lvl 70 boost as much if you could actually get into dungeons, would be sad if there was less money for blizzard.
