I have RPed on and off through the years in varying quality guilds. There is always drama that ruins it and I cba any more. So, I would have to say none.
Unless they mean taking an appropriate name and RP sass the NPCs sometimes whilst questing.

When I started questing on my first ally character, I noticed the name “Goldshire” pop up on my screen. My hands started shaking and I was sweating as a chill ran down my spine. I gave the place a wide berth and never looked back.

On regular realms it’s just a normal Inn, it’s just RP realms it’s a gathering spot.

I do build my characters with a certain idea in mind most of the time, but I only actually properly roleplay sometimes on the ones I have on Argent Dawn.
Name, backstory, transmog and mount.
I don’t RP much out of lazyness/shyness but it’s important to me to be coherent with the universe.

This character has a backstory but the name is not an RP one anymore.
I even wrote some stories with my other characters about adventures together and stuff.
I tried RP a while ago but it’s not for me cause I’m a slow writer and need to think before writing anything when is not internet slag. On top of that I’m not native in English so my sentences sounded odd and that turned me off.

Depends… if I say that I’m Aundra Kilthasir, former blood guard of Quel’thalas, brought back to life by the real Lich King in 2012 (not the muppet sitting on the throne now) and younger sister of Merenwen Kilthasir, former blood guard and now Prot paladin mercenary… does this sounds like RP? 
What about if I add that I have a daughter half elf and half human called Mindy that after my death followed Alleria Windrunner and became a hunter Void Elf? Does it count as RP?

I mostly RP out of boredom or just for the fun or it, and maybe others might find it amusing, or cringe.

I’d like to say more being on Argent Dawn, but the truth is I never have enough time and confidence to RP here, so I limit myself to name/backstory and transmog. All of my characters have atleast a a very brief backstory. The current one I’m using, a warrior, I’m trying to give him a backstory as close as possible as really “the player character”, meaning all he really has is that he is a warrior recruit of Elwynn Forest who began his journey many years ago and is basically an adventurer/mercenary. Basically the story the game itself gives to you! His transmog is based on a small variation of the warrior starter gear for this reason.

I’m basically doing nothing but Roleplay these days with an occasional Mythic+ run or Raid. And even there, there’s roleplay shenanigans if fellow guildies/friends join up.
