Read the initial post, he didn’t mention a single thing about RPing, he was more interested in PvE. The interest in RPing only came after people told him this was an RP realm for RPers.
I’m also pointing out, there are better servers for PvE.
And also, if you read everyone else’s post, they did just that, without showing the lvl of hostily you are showing, hostily without reason I might add.
I have perfectly good reasons for telling people RP servers are for RPers, I watched Steamwheedle Cartel and Earthen Ring die a few years back, I’ve seen RP decline to the point only Argent Dawn remains.
Secondly, telling someone they won’t benefit the community if they’re not going to RP isn’t hostile, it’s simple fact, Argent Dawn is tagged as an RP server for a reason.
Telling it’s fake without proof is, they may mean, they may not, acting like you are acting doesn’t benefit anyone right of the bat.
Argent Dawn has a larger scale of roleplay activety than any other roleplay realms on eu.
But since its the largest does not mean it has quality and hopes you seek, we have faction imbalance, less horde than alliance.
And like many other servers, we have have got bad apples too.
In past the server had lots of drama and the community was pretty divided on unofficial rules on the server, what is or or not is okay on argent dawn no matter what the officials says.
Still happens but less than it used too.
Personal opinion:
Do not mind the ’ Purist ’ too much, you are more than welcome too visit Argent Dawn, its not like you are restricted too just role play and not allowed too do anything else as long you do not disrupt any role play activity / events that is going on on argent dawn.
What ever your decision may be, hope you find a a place you can call home.

There’s still quite a big difference between explaining it and coming in with hostility, latter of which I know and have seen making people not even willing to try RP.
Your posts belong in the latter category and as such are completely unnecesary, regardless of how many servers RP you’ve seen die. Spoiler you’re not unique in that regard, as most of the common posters have seen their realm die out from RP due to influx of griefers and OOCers.

Pick any you like! It just happens that if your focus is on PvE, you’ll find a more active community on Ravencrest, rather than Argent Dawn or Silvermoon. People are ‘better’ at the game there than they are on this server, although I’m not sure how sound that one is for PvP.
Silvermoon and Ravencrest however take away any chance to ever engage in RP without changing server, however, so if you like seeing people RP or want to give it a go yourself and don’t mind a bit less PvE activity, then I say Argent Dawn works fine.

She is doing great, I think, not susceptible to corona and generally feeling healthy. Her diet is quite good too!

And as others said, there is some content scene here, as RPers do them as well. If you want to RP, Argent Dawn is a good choice. If not, Ravencrest and Silvermoon.

I find the Answers of the RP’lers quite odd.
“Dont come here of you want to play pve” You do know that doing quests and stuff is pve too? I get it that you want to protect your last bastion of a RP Server but the poor lad is only asking if its possible to do PvE content too.
I checked some of the chars who post here and while some only do have only around 420 or 430 which is mindblowing low, many of you still have around 475 which is around heroic raid tier.
Instead of shunning him because he wants to focus a bit more on PvE instead of pure roleplaying why not just answer his questions honestly?

You got that wrong. It´s not “don´t come here if you want to play the game”, it´s “don´t come here if you don´t intend to roleplay and want to focus only on PvE”.

Thats quite the Sad statement ya know. I personally made a Char on AD with the Intention to roleplay. But before that i would like to actively do PvE, level up do some raids and get some gear so im equipped for RP in every zone. According to your standards this means im not welcome on AD because i want to focus on PvE first before i focus my attention on RP more.
If that is your ctake, then you just got it wrong mate. If you want to lvl that is fine, but you must have intent on rping, not just standard pve.

Most RP takes place outside of current content zones due to sharding and also because not everyone is max level. In reality, level 110 is capable of participating in all RP this server provides without being burden on others (but you can just as easily do it as level 70 since you have 280% flying at that level).
Dont tell me they made the basic mistake of sharding a PvE-RP Server with non RP Servers…
