How is this not false advertising? fraud? service sold in SoD shop unuseable

I’m not lying, they refused the refund. Very rude

So when did you buy them and did you use any of them in Classic?

It might also help if you copy the text from the ticket with identifiable details removed.

Open the shop, it’s there, INGAME, not the launcher.

Doesn’t matter. They still didnt ADVERTISE it. And people are still getting refunds - just check the customer forums for proof.
Why OP didn’t get a refund we can only guess.

this is so correct what you say, i bought the wrong version of gears of war on microsoft store many moons ago, i bought like a £100 game rather than the £40 version i rang microsoft up explained they refunded the money right away even though there policy says they dont have to

You’re really arguing semantics here ? If you click shop, the first thing you see and ONLY item available is realm transfers.
Not sure what youre even trying to defend here?
Weird behaviour, either being contrarian for the sake of it or something more malicious…

Its anti-consumer design, intentional at that

Imagine still defending Blizzard with this, lmfao

Do you work for the Blizzard, or are you just clueless how the consumer laws work in real life?

You are now literally defending a company who is selling online service without the chance for the refunds, in any circumstances he must get his refund in 14 business days if he can’t use the service like he wants.

I can talk about the consumer laws with you with my 20 years experience of that business.

That guy paid for the realm transfer service, he did it in a game where it is not even possible but the option is possible.

Then Blizzard told him that they won’t refund his purchase.

In US, EU, and anywhere companies are not above the law.

And you are MVP in the WoW forums, or MVP in the roster of the Blizzard’s stupidiest employees?

They got me as well.
€25 for a transfer I can’t use or get refunded :+1:
Awesome business practices Blizz…I see a bright future for this company.

Dude just quit, the company is a joke. And wow is a mess, I quit last night after first experiencing the STV even. Lazy unless Devs mate and GMs are all robots or reading off a script, just quit. You’ll be more fit and spend more time outside exploring the REAL world.

I am arguing agsint the “this is Blizzards fault” mentality.
Yes, Blizzard have not mentioned that SOD is excluded.
Yes that is wrong - I fully agree.

But you still carry some responsibility yourself: check what you buy.
You have obviously done something wrong if Blizzard rejects a refund. We can only just guess why they won’t do a refund for you, and you are not helping with the investigation yourself.

Instead you come up with claims they advertise… - and that makes me pick Blizzard’s side here.

I would guess one of a few things have happened, the OP bought more than one and has used one, they used the one they bought and want a refund or too much time has passed since they bought it.

Alts are free is all am saying

Remind me the only button on diablo 4 that had no WARNING PREVENT (are you sure you want to XXXX, YES/NO) was the “PAY BATTLEPASS” one. Did it really pass though UI test and wasn’t intended ?

Who knows <3

What I know is : scammers count on your lack of will to not get refund.

Got to say after further reading as well am really not a fan of these kind of posts, guess what you bought a realm transfer for classic and that realm transfer for classic works so its not false advertising in anyway because it never said it was for classic SOD, just as if I went online and bought say a washing machine adaptor and then it arrives and it doesn’t fit its still an adaptor for a washing machine just not mine .

It does feel like the OP is just trying to cause outrage kicking off so baby gets their refund.

Try it on Amazon, trust me they will refund <3 Love you

You can always call your bank and tell them to charge back the money. Your WoW account will be “closed” untill the money comes back to blizzard (so basically forever), but you can simply make a new account and start a new char with the XP buff on the server you tried to transfer to - youre not missing out on much endgame content at P2 anyway.

Blindly trusting the word of the consumer is what you learned after 20 years in that business?

Blizzard does refunds as long as you havent used the thing you bought, so its pretty obvious that the OP used whatever he purchased somehow causing them to refuse his refund.

If you going to the market and buying an expired product - it’s your fault, you didn’t made a tests on a cheese in vacuum package.
Jeez.

It also never said it was for paladins, so buying a transfer you gonna be rejected and it’s ok, right?
