I am currently considering severak realms to reroll to, you know, because of ques.
I never played on an RP server but Zandalari tribe looks promissing to me. Will I be expected ro RP all the time, or mainly in RP events and open world encounters?
Anyone got a discord link?
Honestly I think RP people seem to have the best sub community, i might want to become part of it.

Thanks my friends. Didnt see that topic forgot about search function ^^
It has been really good so far anyway, plenty fights with the opposite faction and i’ve had really good interactions with my own faction.
No you wont be expected to rp everywhere you go, take part in it if you wish but nobody expects you to.
Playing there right now, and It’s not really an RP server, plenty of guilds/ players going non-RP, but it has RP as well, not to mention Faction balance is on point, so it’s a safe choice
Horde feels like they are more focused on PvP though.
I think the main reason that there is not much RP yet is, that even RP players tend towards leveling their characters a bit before starting to organize bigger RP events.
Saw morr than 1 guild which straight up says they are not rp, RPpvp servers were always more mixed than regular pve rp, I’m not into much rp as well
Even on Argent Dawn we had plenty of guilds and players that do NOT RP and it’s not an issue whatsoever. Don’t listen to any players who tell you that you’re expected to RP on RP realms, including RP-PvP.
Also to answer your question. ZT is a great realm.
Nice thanks. I mean want to try rping a bit but not all the time or in dungeons or something like that
I don’t say anything against people not doing RP on RP servers for as long as people don’t actively disturb RP. During Vanilla I also joined a non-RP guild for raiding for a while.
Non-RP guild does not automatically mean that all members of those guilds don’t do RP. And not all RP players are doing RP 100% of the time.
Currently, most RP player are also concentrating on leveling and have therefore less RP. When more characters reach medium or max level and more of the slower players reach level where they can play instances there will be more RP.
My friends and I (not my raid guild) often did in-character instances or cleared/patrolled PvP areas in-character. But we also did „normal“ instances especially with randoms that made
But if solo leveling I only roleplay if people actively play with me.
I think it is no problem having non-RPler on RP Server. As long as /s and /y are only used in character, they stick to the naming conventions and don’t actively disturb any RP events.
