Does it take to do these stupid quests before i get all my crap done? it’s horrible gameplay.

Im in blackrock mountains after hours of this stupid single player poorly written quests…
Also why is my corrupted gear killing me? Finally I am gearing up only to realise that my new better gear actually makes my character worse.

Which quests?
The cloak intro quest is about 2.5 to 3 hours for the first time. The daily quests are about 30-60 minutes per day, depending on when you play and what the dailies are. These aren’t really needed, though. The daily vision takes 5 minutes, the three assaults (one major, two minor) about 90-120 minutes per week (longer the first time you do them).
Cleanse it or don’t use it until you have enough corruption resistance from the cloak and the essences.

So youre telling me to unequip all the 440 items i have earned and replace them with my old 380 items that I have from when i quit after BFA release? :)) gg wp blizz

It seems unlikely that you have so many corrupted items already before you finished the cloak quest line, especially at 440 or above. But if you do, you can cleanse them from the corruption.

I have 65 corruption with 5 resistance. Which means basicly my OWN gear and upgrades can one shot me at any point. I can’t pvp, world content is easy AF unless i look away for one sec and a thing from beyond one shots me for 100k dmg…

no effect, just equipping the gear thats better. Are you seriously saying its better to have a 380ilvl equipped than a corrupted item? Where’s the friggin logic?..

It looks like a l2play issue.
Do the quests, get the cape, upgrade the cape. There are no shortcuts.

Every corrupted piece give an extra effect, flat stat, stat proc, or a particular damage effect.
If you get bad effect you can simply cleanse the bad corruption and keep your 440 like a normal piece of gear.
