Yes, I am young compared to many of the players I play with(there are plenty of people in their 60’s playing), but I really do not see what would make the FF playerbase any younger than WoW. Young is to me 25 or younger, or perhaps 30 and younger.
And yes, 36 is old. Maybe not compared to my friends in their 60’s, but it’s still old. I mean, I have a 18 year old son. I doubt he see me as particulary young…

I played FFXIV to max level many months ago and I have made a ton of friends and they were all 17-24 years old, most of them being girls whereas everyone I know on WoW is 26-46 and mostly guys. Blizzard would love to trade their player base with FFXIV because younger players spend more money and more time in the game. Many of my friends on FFXIV would log on for no reason at all and just do random fun things whereas WoW players just sit around on Discord and log on only for raids or a key.
Yeah people get that one wrong all the time.

Well that’s true, but people in wow community mostly know the way it is used here, at least I am positive about it.

Assmongold puts me off playing it. However I do dabble and it was Yoshinori Kitase director of final fantasy 7 that made me want to play it.

I missed the Mega drive and SNES too but considering they were miles behind in technical terms to the Playstation you may as well have sat in a cave in front of a fire staring at the skyscrapers.
And all you did was deprive yourself of one of the greatest storylines in a videogames.
